Transitive property eh?
Georgia beat USCe by 24.
I guess that means Georgia is 21 points better than aTm.

You don't think Bama has a physical run game:
D Harris, N. Harris, Jacobs, Robinson.
Better than LSU's
Miss St. has a better run game than Bama. So does UGA (even after last week). If we contain MSU as well as we did UGA, I'd think any reasonable Bama fan would at least be slightly less confident.

Won’t happen. Fromm was never a threat to run. MSU will get yards

Nobody is talking to you, fella.

I know we are deep into this thread, and I will admit that I didn't read past page 2...
But here is UGA's offensive/defensive ranks BEFORE Saturday's game
Total Offense: 22nd
Total Defense: 6th
Scoring Offense: 15th
Scoring Defense: 2nd

I don't think Daniel has started a thread about Texas A&M since he joined this board.

Florida is a tough physical run first offense. Bama has gone the way of the Spread Passing attacks. It's sad really.
So, do you get more points for running the ball in than throwing it? In other words, you're saying Florida ran the ball down your throats and you don't think Bama can do that.

Mississippi State has been exposed as extremely one dimensional.

tFear-
A neurotoxin secreted by graduate-transfer first-year starting qbs. Due to its unique ability to specifically target neural components, tFearoxicity symptoms may include obsessive internet board activity and compulsive shite-posting.
Sacrificing gaudy stats for mistake-free football, calling effective audibles, first thru second-half field appearances, stiff-arming defenseless dbs in the open field, and excessive winning are known to increase tFear pheromone production.
The SECDC has reported high concentration levels identified in populations in or around Alabama, South Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama.
If you live in or near these affected areas, refrain from SEC Network and CBS Saturday coverage until after February 2, 2019.

Didn't LSU lose to one of those?

True. I didn't say they were a better team than Bama, just that they have a better run game. We'll beat MSU if we shut down their run game. We'll need to do more to beat Bama, of course.
I'll be looking to see how we do against their run game when we are spread out and aren't loading the box. We won't be able to sell out to stop the run against Bama.

Now do the average defensive ranking both have played against.....

I may need to steal this from you.

quote:not the stats you posted. they don't compare bama's o to lsu's d and they don't take into account that bama has faced some putrid defenses
it's a good indication that UA's offense is much more prolific
quote:yep. lsu is right with bama in sos and strength of record. i don't think the separation is nearly as much as those gaudy o stats superficially suggest
this far into the season, they can be a good indicator
in conference games, bama is #1 o in the sec yards per game. lsu is #3. take that for what it's worth
