Because he didn’t want his legacy potentially overshadowed by LK.
You're probably right. Lane would stay at Bama for at least 20 years and eclipse what Saban did in Tuscaloosa. No fear of him staying that long in Baton Rouge, that's for sure.
re: Why was Saban more involved with the LSU coaching search than Bama's?

Don't remember anybody saying they talked with Saban for advice during the Decline hire.
Well we do know one thing, he told Byrne not to hire Kiffin! If he thinks so much of Kiffin, why wouldn’t he want him at Bama? I know why and you’ll understand in a year. Maybe two.

Looks like they would make great snapper and grouper bait.

You’ve heard it here folks
It was the best job OPEN at the time. If anyone of you has the balls to ask him, ask Saban if Bama and LSU were open at the same time, which would he choose? Y'all would hate his response.

Send him an email and ask but it would be an odd question since he never said he would name names.
That’s just a lie some silly folks told over and over. You see that now though.
He was standing right by MTG's side when she said it and never refuted her. He was at the least complicit in her plan. He never said, "nuh uh, you can't do that." And then she goes on and retires without doing what she said she would do. Typical politician. Pedo protectors.

The mother put the judge and the prosecutor in this quandary. No one else. They are being attacked by imbeciles who cannot be bothered to read the story, because SHE was a horrible parent who failed to protect her child.
The child was beat to death. So either he or the mother should be in prison for the rest of their life. Choose one.

SCOTUS can't rule on something unless it's brought before them.
I understand that. But if tariffs are so terrible, kind of strange that no one brought it before them in his first term or that Biden didn’t do away with them during his term.

The means used by Trump were probably not legal. He got bad advice and invoked the wrong way to impose the tariffs without Congress.
Didn’t he use tariffs the same way in his first term? Shouldn’t Congress and the SC have terminated those tariffs during the Biden Administration? And as I recall Biden never removed the tariffs Trump put on China in his first term. I think he might have even increased them, if I recall correctly.

You can't understand the fact than the largest city in the country that has always fought against communism/socialism elected a KNOWN communist/socialist as it's mayor is baffling to me. It would be the same as the KKK electing a Blank Panther to be it's Grand Wizard. And yet you don't understand?

8 votes out of hundreds of millions is never going to have an affect on an election.
Well, first it is illegal. And it negates 8 U.S. citizens votes. It would be considered an 16 vote swing.

When you run elections of our size there are going to be people who fall through the cracks.
You're an idiot.

If you’ve ever been to poor areas (think any Louisiana city) I guarantee you 90% of them don’t vote.
I'm truly sorry that people can't/don't get off their lazy arse and get to a polling station nearby. Not my problem. It's people that aren't CITIZENS voting in our elections with the sole purpose of destroying our country that I take issue with.

What about this implies anything other than Americans exercising their rights to participate in their government?
So you couldn't care less if 8 non-citizens vote in our elections? What about that implies it's only Americans that are participating?

Does anybody remember it was rumored he was leaving back late Spring/early Summer? I think it was because the new leadership of the FBI (Kash and Dan) was getting stalled by old staff concerning the J6 Pipe Bomb investigation, which Dan commented on a lot before he took the job with the FBI. Now that that case has been solved, he may feel like he has accomplished what he set out to do. And he can return to his podcast knowing he accomplished something and with the blessing of President Trump.

Is the person I pay to change my oil also considered my slave?
Why's that? You don't pay that person directly. He/she gets paid by the company the work for. But you pay an illegal to "clean" your house? Are you disabled or just lazy? And I do hope you are paying her at least $50/hour for her skill set. Apparently something you do not have.

True. But I'm sure it's barely above minimum wage.
