UA #29 rushing offense, LSU #37.

I just don't think it's at all likely that LSU can consistently move the ball enough to score enough points to beat UA this year.

No offense (ha) intended to you reasonable LSU fans. It's the silly trash talking fans to whom I am talking. And yes, we do all have them. Hell, I used to do it till I realized how goofy it is.

I guess I need to update my thread about how many threads on the front 2 pages Bama fans have started about LSU 2 days before their big “rivalry” game with Tennessee.

Probably the two 6-1 teams that LSU has played.

We'll see. A lot will depend on which LSU OL shows up. If LSU can put together a gameplan and performance like it did against UGA, I like our chances in Death Valley at night.

If the LSU of the Florida game shows up, Bama will roll.

This is key for LSU to move the ball even a little bit. Alabama leads the SEC in sacks, LSU is 12th in sacks allowed.

Alabama has played the following defenses:

UL (93)
Arkansas State (72)
Ole Miss (121)
Texas A&M (21)
ULL (115)
Arkansas (101)
Missouri (96)

Arkansas State is the second best defense Bama has faced all year . Bama's opponent's average total defense ranking is 88.

LSU has played the following defenses:

Miami (1)
La Tech (36)
SE La (NA)
Auburn (29)
Ole Miss (121)
Florida (21)
UGA (13)

That's an average opponent defense of 36.

These stats would mean something if Alabama had played the type of schedule that LSU has.

LSU played Auburn back before Auburns defensive players knew that the team sucked and their coach was on his way out, as well as UGA. Alabama has played A&M and that's about it. Missouri is average at best, Arkansas is getting better but still struggling, and Ga Tech matched Alabama's offensive output versus Louisville.

And no one thought we would score 36 against Georgia and hold them to 16, but here we are!

Interesting. Bama is really effective against bad defenses. Congrats.
