Wading Matagorda now vs 2000s, it’s a completely different place. No grass at all. We put a big dent in them with no limits for a while, but now they’re losing their habitat, and that’s obviously hard to fix. ...

Rods come down to a personal preference with how it feels in your hands, but as far as quality goes, Waterloo makes great rods. I have a few from the salinity to the carbon mag. ...

The Waterloo Salinity Series is in that range and is a good rod at that price.
Just saw yours not crazy about Waterloo. Not Texas or Louisiana but Cajun Rods are American made and have a 25% off sale right now. ...
