It's even more likely that a bunch of those votes are just pretending because they're shocked at how stupid he is and they're actually about to vote him out before he gets the SEC raped by ESPN for canceling the TV contract.

1 - If Sankey filed this amendment, he's already got the majority vote for expulsion in hand. 2 - Removing Kiffin (or LSU entirely in this case) is the easiest initial move to ensure the inmates don't end up running the asylum. 3 - Sankey could fill LSU's spot with 3 ACC teams and move to that 16 number. That's where we're at. LSU fans can like it, hate it, act like it doesn't matter, etc.

It's odd how Kiffin was just fine for the SEC while at Ole Miss but now his antics are unacceptable at LSU.
Here comes the LSU LOONIES

An Alabama fan brings conspiracy to the SEC’s defense…shocking.

This. It’s just a dick measuring contest now. Sankey is putting in the nuclear codes over a fist fight.
All of you idiots saying this are missing the very obvious point that the other SEC schools are apparently aligned behind him. It seems very unlikely that Sankey went to each of those schools' presidents and said, "LSU publicly embarrassed me, and I will not let that stand. I want to kick them out of the conference. Will you back me on that?" and they were all like, "Yeah, brother, kick them out! Bros before hos! Let's do it!"

It's about Kiffen and the power vacuum which is LSU administration.

Sankey admitted under coach last week he hadn’t read the 5 for 5 rule.
Don’t be surprised if this blows up.

I think it’s just the last straw of everything in the past year. Stealing Kiffin from an inconference playoff team, stealing Wade back, now this. Technically they’re not wrong but it is unprecedented how much they are flouting convention. They know they have embraced the villain role. LSU is the symbol of new money cynicism in the state of college sports. They’re the ones everyone brings up when they talk to these Presidents and AD’s.

This what I worry about the most. I know LSU loves to thumb their nose at folks in charge but none of this warrants expulsion from the SEC

This.
I'd put this all at legit 60% chance that LSU gets effectively kicked out this week.

Yeah ok, Sankey put us on double secret probation.
Frick off Gumptard.

We didn’t STEAL anything.
LSU made offers and the 2 coaches accepted.
This isn’t the first time a coach went from one school to another within the SEC

Yes, it’s called creating a monster that’s gonna cause the SEC hell for the next 5 to 10 years and they’re trying to avoid it

I don’t think this has anything to do with LSU at this point. The SEC just wants to make the legal case that the conference (and it’s voting members) has the authority and power to do things in specific situations.

Don't forget that this would affect every LSU SEC sport, males & females, track, swimming, golf, etc etc. Would the CFPC bar LSU as well?

the moment LSU successfully challenged the SEC's authority in court.

This whole thing seems to be spiraling out of control.
We are actually in football season and this shite is still going.
I cannot believe anyone really wants LSU out and I am pretty sure LSU would be crazy to want to leave.

So Sankey and the other presidents want to punish LSU for bucking convention?
Good luck with that
