He has a cult like following from a fan base. He isn’t leaving.

Great coach with strong Texas high school coaches. Do not believe his strengths translate to La high schools.

re: Post Game Traffic

Challenges: River cuts off 40% of physical exit routes, lakes cut out additional paths to exit, and exiting north puts you into downtown chaos.

That being said, need higher commitment to counter flows at all cost for 2 hours after games. Anyone who moves toward campus from start of 4th to 2 hours after game must sit in parking lot. No turning around and blocking traffic. Nicholson must flow all lanes out of campus. Same for river road, all the way to casino.

No reason EVER for someone to be traveling toward university near end of game.

I have been to A&M and UT games, much faster exits.
I have colleagues in Michigan who believe Kelly would be a good fit for them… midwestern guy with a link to their QB.
I agree. Have we ran a sweep or pulled a guard? Seems everything is ran between the tackles.
I agree.

Season tickets in family passed down for 70 years. Drive 7 hours for 4-5 home games each year. I announce high school Friday night games and 2-3 times per year travel through the night to tailgate on game day mornings.

Then to see people leaving early is disheartening.

Recommendations: 1. BTR PD/La Troopers need to step up and effectively fix the traffic after games. They lack decision makers to shut down inbound lanes. 2. Concession lines (need more self serve). 3. Take away tickets from those that leave early (Saben this at Bama to Fraternity/Sororities that left).
Landry needs to get the national guard on every corner. And use them to work the traffic situation after the game.

Let the BRPD focus on escorting the politicians into and out of the stadium.

For any BRPD officer that allows a car to travel towards the stadium for 90 mins after the game should be moved to foot patrol in North BR.

Concessions: got WORSE

Posted by LSUTIGAHS123 on 10/12/25 at 4:31 am
Can’t believe they made our concession stand situation worse in the North End Zone.

In past, you line up in front of counter to give order to someone who doesn’t want to be there. Last night, they had you lined up behind a long line that wrapped for 50+ people into the next line of people. New process: you have someone (who doesn’t want to be there) calls you up and if you hear them, you step from the general line to the register. Losing 15-30seconds worse than the traditional lining up in front of register.

No reason it should take 30 mins to get drinks and food.

I won’t deal with concessions in the future at Tiger Stadium. 40 years of complete poor management of concessions and they made it worse.

If you take it for ‘the certification’ versus the tools to solve problems…. Not worth it.

Learn problem solving and statistical approaches to solve problems is highly useful if you are in mfg environment. A must have.
Guidry played every third (maybe fourth) series of each half.

It was predetermined and stayed the same for every game. Tommy might have been on fire… but would take the predefined drive off.

Message was: gives Tommy a chance to absorb the game speed and watch the defense without the pressures.

Was a good approach and aligned with fans, media and the players. No controversy or Hodson looking over his shoulder.

Reminder: you could argue Tommy was best QB at LSU ever excluding Joe and Jaden.
If he gets a drive each half…

How good is Ole Miss’ pass rush?

Posted by LSUTIGAHS123 on 9/26/25 at 10:43 am
We know the aren’t good at stopping the run… does Nuss have time to throw the ball? Our OL pass protection vs Ole Miss’s pass rush is a key.
I parked at U-High last week. Left stadium with 1:45 on clock in 4th.

Took Dalrymple, under I-10, turned right on Broussard Street. Snaked around golf course to College and head to Corporate Blvd (north side of I-10 from you, directly across).

Took 20 mins from leaving parking lot behind fraternity houses across from U High to my place on Corporate Drive.
As someone who watched from end zone about 20 rows up, there were holes. We seemed to run into the masses of bodies instead of running to open green grass.

re: Stadium Replays.. why none?

Why did they stop showing other games on the big screen and concourse tv during pre-game?

I saw holes and gaps… backs didn’t have vision to run to the gaps.

Need to run more to perimeter and less to the interior.
We aren’t moving two Weeks to the offensive side of the ball.

33 Weeks

No idea what happened to him, TS doesn’t show replays. Is his injury serious?

What is status for West Weeks?

Didn’t see how he went down, and we don’t get replays in the stadium, what happened to 33?

He never got back in. Had his helmet which implied it wasn’t a concussion.

His body will develop. Looked light for a MLB. But noticed he seemed to be quick at stepping into the gap. He certainly didn’t shy away from getting mixed up with the bigs.
