The Pirates' ownership is one of the cheapest in MLB. They've been bad for decades & what happens is they won't pay their stars the big bucks once the players' original contracts expires.

There's been a lot of MLB podcast chatter about him not finishing the season. The commonly listed issue is that the Giants have a veteran loaded roster & they can't relate to TV. He'll have enuff salary money to sit out till next year, seeing what job is open. Can't see the Vols firing their HC after only one season.

Funny that people here are attacking Senator Kennedy, over & over again, but saying nothing about what he's talking about.. And as for him being "clever", he's one of the smartest politicians in Congress: a law degree from the prestigious law school of the University of Virginia and a Rhodes Scholar. He said, often & openly, that he didn't run against John Bel because he felt that staying in the Senate was more important. He stays in a one bedroom apartment in D.C as opposed to some of the "mansions" his peers live in. Calling him a RHINO just shows your ignorance / bias.

"Waiting 5 years"? Do you not get it that many rape victims are so embarrassed that they won't testify against their rapists , let alone report it to the police? That number, according to psychologists is over 50%.

So what exactly is the DNC's "solid platform" ? If POTUS Donald Trump wasn't in office, the DNC would have zilch when it gets past immigration.

Re the Clinton Foundation, a doctor I know belongs to the Doctors Without Borders group. When that destructive storm wiped out Haiti, he spent 3 weeks down there & what he heard & observed from day 1 was that the Haitians hated the Clintons, particularly the Clinton Foundation. A Clinton crony was put in charge of the Foundation ,with complete control of the Federal grant money. Haitians were telling him to just look around & see just how much damage remained untouched, this after 2 mths of that grant money, millions & millions of dollars. He checked back several mths later & those millions had still not reached the people.

Several different groups of fans from Norway have all been saying the same thing: "we've been saving for this trip for years." And it's not just the price of tickets, massive numbers are traveling across the country, following their teams....from Boston down to Mexico. to Canada, L.A., stopping over at the Grand Canyon.
