Wonder why you didn’t post Pavia’s rushing yards and TDs. Here I’ll help you out. Rushing yards 826 and 9 TDs. So 4018 yards total and 36 TD.
Not sure why y’all couldn’t get behind this guy. Talks too much ? Probably. But for a kid with zero stars and no recruitment to make history ( and at Vandy!) is mind blowing. You laugh at his height? All the more impressive for what he did. I wish all of us have kids and grandkids with half the determination and perseverance of Diego.
Don’t worry about his future income. He will be making lots of money as a coach after he goes for NFL/CFL.
Also great that no one here was covering the other awards.

Eli Stowers won the John Mackey Trophy as best TE and the William V. Campbell Trophy for combined excellence in academics and football.

I might be wrong but I seem to recall hearing that the state of Virginia has something on the books that UVA and VaTech must be in same conference.
This is what Franklin did to us when he left. Made sure every recruit decommited so we had NO class. He didn’t even take all those players to PSU. He just wanted to make sure that we regressed to make him look better. I was fine with his leaving but not how he did it.
As to PSU they will be fine once they get a coach and a staff. Might take a few years though.

This is really ruining everything. We have too many team already. And we certainly have too much orange/burnt orange as it is.

We aren’t getting in unless they decide to go to 16 teams this year.
I’m pretty frustrated with the entire thing. There are so many different data points that legitimately support any of the top 14 to get in. The ultimate kicker for me was the chair of CFP literally saying that since we beat UT by too much and they dropped from the top 25 we had no good wins while at the same time he said that since Bama (I have no problems with them being in) fought so hard at Barn’s stadium it showed a good win. So we won by too many points? How does this pass the laugh test? To their credit lots of national press are highlighting this crazy rationale. And I have no doubt next year’s CFP committee will have an entire new set of standards that will apply to different teams at different times in different ways.
Here is a new stat I thought was interesting - again you can find anything to make your case. Like the BCS has us at 12. Teams that lost to someone below the CFP top 14: Texas Tech, Bama, Miami (twice!!) and Texas. Everyone else had no losses to a non CFP top 14 ranked team.
Anyway we won’t be in it. I bet the viewership would have gone up too - everyone loves seeing the little guy try to knock off a power. And I think we would have won a few games too. would love to see a momentum factor for next year - teams like us and Texas improved as the year went on and that should count. Looking forward to destroying some poor unsuspecting team in the bowl game.

- taking care of the big brands. Texas above us so they get the top bowl outside of CFP. Bama up after barely beating Auburn to protect them if they lost in SECCG. ND obviously too. Miami - check.
- just having the fact so wrong. Like these committee guys couldn’t be bothered to watch the game. Ex. Tonight the guy says Bama did great winning at Auburn cause that is a tough place to place, just ask Vandy. Well sorry but Auburn played in Nashville and lost. Every time he was asked abut Vandy he flat out had the facts wrong. He never watched us.

We have been crushing folks for 4 weeks and we never moved up, only down. Explain that one. Fun fact - Pavia is the ONLY SEC player to ever have 400+ yards in 4 straight games.
- Vandy is one of the most fun teams to watch. Pavia is must see stuff. Have the momentum. Certainly Texas got better too. Should there be a momentum factor in the CFP rankings? Anyway, some of the teams that will get in will be boring as hell to watch. And I don’t intend to.

It might work for a few years, but everyone knows too much drama is just around the corner with Kiffin. It might be fun for a while (fun for them) but it will crash and burn (fun for us to watch).
I do think some of the other more low key hires in the SEC are going to be good.

If Vandy is 10-2, and Texas is 9-3, they aren’t passing us.
Not sure why they are so belligerent about this. Texas will probably be in CFP for the next 100 years. They can miss this year.
