conference pride is a thing of the past...the other SEC schools are our main competition for players, exposure, etc...
Jim, did you ever email me to claim your prize? I was waiting for everyone to email me so I could do the amazon gift card in one shot...but some people never emailed me and I got sidetracked...
please post a screen shot if you can
The 2026 football season is upon us...and all Pick'em contests are now live! You can start playing by visiting:

Pick'em Home Page

Additionally, you can always get to the Pick'em home page by clicking the "Pick'em" link (to the right of the logo on desktop, and inside the three-bar "hamburger" menu at top left on mobile).

The contests are free to play...you just have to be a registered user. Please pay attention to weekly deadlines! Check in each week to see how you performed and make your picks for the next week.

Here are the contests:

CFB Pick'em:
All you have to do is pick the winners of the games that we select each week. You'll get a point for every correct pick you make while we do all the hard work of gathering the results and computing the point totals and standings. Prizes will be awarded for most correct picks and best pick % (note: to qualify for "best pick %" prize, you have to pick at least 75% of the games offered and participate in both of the final two weeks). This 75% rule gives people a chance in case they miss a week or two.

NFL Pick'em:
NFL Pick'em works the same way as College Football Pick'em...just pick who will win each game listed. Prizes will be awarded for most correct picks and best pick % (note: to qualify for "best pick %" prize, you have to pick at least 75% of the games offered and participate in both of the final two weeks). This 75% rule gives people a chance in case they miss a week or two.

NFL Survivor:
Each week, pick one team that you think will win its game. If that team wins, you continue to the next round. If that team loses or ties (or if you fail to make a pick at all), you are out of the contest. You cannot pick the same team more than once over the course of the season. The contest will continue until one contestant remains or the NFL regular season comes to an end. If the NFL regular season ends with no outright winner, all remaining participants will be declared winners and split the prize.

IMPORTANT: For NFL Pick'em and NFL Survivor, only Sunday games that start at noon CT or later, along with Monday night games, will be included. While this eliminates some games from the schedule each week, it gives everyone extra time to get in their picks.

Good luck!

A conference commissioner is urging a state judge to uphold NCAA eligibility rules and deny extended eligibility to a player in his own league.

In an affidavit filed Thursday in the Circuit Court of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey argues against granting Alabama basketball player Charles Bediako collegiate eligibility — a somewhat groundbreaking and stunning filing a day ahead of a hearing Friday over whether the Crimson Tide can continue playing Bediako.

"I respectfully ask the Court to uphold the NCAA eligibility rules challenged in this case, which are essential to the integrity of college sports, to the educational mission they serve, and to the opportunities they provide for current and future student-athletes," Sankey wrote in the four-page affidavit.

Bediako, a 7-foot center, returned to the Alabama basketball team last month despite leaving school three years ago and after signing multiple professional contracts — a violation of NCAA eligibility rules. He is playing under a temporary restraining order granted on Jan. 21 by an Alabama judge and alum who, in light of conflicts, recused himself from the case last month.

I think that case was a no-brainer...the kid had been out of college for three years AND signed a pro contract...I think these class of 2022 kids have a much better case, but you can't say that Sankey has been inconsistent on this issue.

Brown Rice as it's healthier for you.

Redneck, good to see you.

By the way, BUSCH was reinstated back in May 2024.
I would send me kid to Jesuit and not consider any other school.

Tom Cruise...his span of blockbuster hits across multiple decades is unmatched...
I think there should be exceptions for these guys that would have otherwise had a chance to play an additional year with the new 5 for 5 ruling...it is too bad the ruling occurred this late in the game.
