You start a decent thread, and you go and post a chest beating moment instead of what you are asking everyone else to do. Boy, you got us with that one.

Mine is the Yeldon screen in 2012. Even after the BCS loss the year before, we could still claim to be on somewhat similar footing. 2012 killed any chance of that.

Before that it would have to be the 1980 NCAA Regional Final loss to Louisville. Went to the game at the fairly new Summit in Houston. That was probably LSU's best team ever. Until an agent got in Dwayne Scales head and convinced him he needed to start taking 20 ft contested jumpers.

I was in attendance. I hated that happened to that kid. He was a baller!
Very similar to what happened to Bo Jackson.

Yep. It was the first really deflating loss I ever attended, I was too young to remember the Florida beat-down of 2001 though I was there too. I can vividly remember watching the last few seconds count down and wondering how we let that one get away.

Just one? Maybe Stoernover.

Was watching it in a bar with an ex-Hog OL. We were the only Hog fans (when game started) in a sea of orange.

Thought we were gonna have to fight our way out, mostly because we were a tad obnoxious until that moment. Although we're both big guys (6'3" & 6'5"), it would have ended poorly.

2012 SEC Championship Game.

Went into that game knowing that could well be our last shot at a natty under Richt, but also having to little to no confidence we could beat that Bama team.

The way we played for three and a half quarters and the grit Murray showed bringing us down the field on that last drive still makes me sick to my stomach that it got ripped away.

Funny thing is, I don’t know if the Kirby era ever really happens the way it has if we win that game and go on to win the natty that year (which, btw, we would have)

2019. Virginia double-dribbled.

If that call was made, AU becomes a MBB National Champion with maybe the greatest run through the tournament in history.

5 outs to Omaha 2009 Virginia, Evan Button couldn’t push off on a messed up ankle and short armed an easy toss to first. Game fell apart after that. Was up 3/2 at time and lost 4/3.

Same for me, and Kirby would not be our coach if we score a td on the final play. Richt would have been here until his Parkinson's got too bad and Kirby would be kicking arse at another school

See that’s the conflict for me. I grew up on the Richt era and even now looking back my heart wanted him and Murray to get one so bad…but I know it probably would’ve cost us success in the long-term.

Funny enough, the latest image of that game to me is Kirby jumping around on the field right after the clock runs out. It’s literally the first thing the TV broadcast cuts to.

Richt’s last title hope being ripped away by the man who would ultimately take his job and bring titles to Athens…can’t make the shite up

1986 Kerwin Bell with a hurt knee came off the bench. He hopped on one leg to lead come back win over Auburn. 18 17

Trip back to Alabama was long, tedious and took forever.

For me it was probably coming up 5 yards short in 2012.

That was really the first time UGA was right there for winning a NC then came up one play short.

2017 was similar in that UGA was one play short, but it was different in that at that point UGA felt like it was building toward better things under Smart, while 2012 was more a culmination of what we could be under Richt and it still wasn't quite enough, but was so damn close.

didn't Auburn's former kicker kick the game winner too?

Even Auburn fans felt bad about that game. Never want to see it again either.

Kick Six. Just a terrible way to lose. Especially against your rival.

Kicked a long field goal late in the game. Bell ran for two with little time left to clinch the win.

Folks said he cost Auburn two games, missed game winner against Alabama, transfered and made crucial FG against Auburn.

The Camback. Being up 24-0 and losing that IB was painful to watch.

I can live with the kick six. That was a wild ending to a great game and I respected that Auburn team. Losing to Cam and Fairley the way that game played out was awful.
