re: Why do people care so little about SEC men's basketball?

Nashville is a long way for fans to travel for a weekday game for everyone other than Tennessee fans

Is LSU the most unlikable team in every sport(with the possible exception of baseball)?
With Auburn’s football program in the dumps

It is comforting to know they still have Bruce Pearl to field a good mbb program

I was at the SC game in 2019. SC was 25-point underdogs that game. The entire town of Athens was stunned that day.
The only time Kirby reminded me of the Ray Goff years. And the stadium was a morgue, just like the Ray Goff years.

Oh my goodness.
When I was a kid, I thought that UGA would never overtake Auburn (or Tennessee) in the overall series record. These Rich/Kirby years have truly been a blessing.

We don't have a player that can consistently take over a game, and can't play perimeter defense. And we will be an 8 or 9 seed, so that means playing the 1. 1st or 2nd round exit.

You may be right. But do people want Newsome, AOC, Harris, etc. in charge?
That is '28. This will be forgotten by then unless it turns into a quagmire. I am talking about mid-terms.

Midterms will be won by the GOP.
What planet are you living on? We will likely "win" this engagement, but it will seal the GOP's fate in November. People don't want this, particularly with Americans being killed.

I am in this boat. I did not vote for this, but like the Maduro matter I will certainly reserve judgment until we see the result. He has been highly effective on foreign policy this term.
