Do LSU coaches let their hitters know that they don't actually have to swing at pitches in the dirt?

AU finishes MSU 13-2 in 7 to take the series 2-1. Should solidify AU as a national seed.
Oh well. Fun run to make an exciting end for a really bad team. Maybe they can turn the experience into momentum for next year.
25 runs so far for AU in the SECT. Tournament record for Auburn.
Just posted this in the mega thread:

Was driving to the beach during the game, so I didn't get to add to the discussion...

Good game and good series, Aggies. Moss is nasty on the mound right now. I think I would have been less triggered if we would have lost 4-1 than see the tying run crossing the plate as the game ended.

Announcers rooting hard for aggie. Crying about a pitch that's been called strike all day for both teams

Now I start to worry about the law of averages. 18 runs... did we just use up all the offense in one game?

Apparently not...

Best part of this beating is that they are now on their 3rd bullpen arm and it's only the 5th inning of the 1st game.

Aubbie teeing off on aggie. 2 × 2 run HR in top 4. Now 11-3

Wait. Didn't that run score? Shouldn't it be 7-2?

ETA: They fixed it. Right as aggie hit another HR. 7-3

2 run HR for aggie in b2. 6-2 AU after 2

Auburn just chased aggie starter in top of the second with a 4-0 lead, no outs, and 2 RISP.

This is a good sign with 2 to play today.
