Who will Ole Miss hire next - and what will they have been arrested for?

With records like these, how have Golding and Beard avoided service in Louisiana politics?

Imo after 3 seasons lane will realize LSU

This is top end for Lane.

Will he be successful? Yes.

Will he win a natty? Maybe. He's good enough to win one, and self-destructive enough not to.

Will it end badly? Yes, but it will take more than 3 years unless something spectacular happens.

Does somebody need to do a wellness check on Lane?

Hiring Lane Kiffin is like getting back together with a crazy hot ex-girlfriend. It's gonna be a fun ride for a while, but you know all along its going to end badly.

Ole Miss knew it when we hired him, deep down, LSU knows it too.

You can be stupid and educated at the same time. I hope for his sake he is trolling here.

Bingo. Just because you're trained, it doesn't mean you're smart.

You can train a chimp with enough bananas.

It's amazing how much dumber the average American has become over the last 30 years. It's like idiocy is fashonable.

There would be no granting of redshirts or waivers in order to receive additional years, except in extraordinary circumstances. Examples that might fall under waiver consideration would be military service, religious missionary work or maternity leave

Part of the problem why the NCAA fails, and it was on display in the Chambliss case, is that they can't be reasonably consistent in their rulings.

If we're going to have exceptions, then the NCAA isn't going to be able to arbitrarily grant this one and deny that one. Otherwise, the courts are going to look at the NCAA as an enforcer of an economic cartel instead of the regulator of a rules-based system.

I think think the NCAA's credibility has gone beyond saving on that point without major, possibly extreme, measures. I think the NCAA"s history of selective enforcement has a lot to do with why they lose so frequently, on top of frequently being wrong on the legal merits.

And this last time they didn’t even win any championships.

Unfortunately, webels wobble but they don't fall down

Sorry, forgot you were here. You may go now.

Every championship is bought one way or another
I thought Georgia already did that. Can you give us an update while you meat ride us for another week?

Where the link ?

LSU is a great place to look for missing links

… Indiana would win handily all 10 times. Correct?

If yes, honestly, when was the last time we could say that about any team vs any Alabama team?

20 years?

There were no pick 6’s, no scoop & scores, no fluke tds or special teams TDs.

Alabama did nothing to “beat themselves.”

Just got flat out physically whipped in all phases of the game.

Should be concerning to Tide fans.

Indiana beat Ohio State for an outright Big Ten title, then they went on to blow Alabama out in the playoff.

Don't know if they ultimately win it, but there's no more dismissing Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers.

He would have been overly aggressive and played right into Kirbys hands. Pete being slightly more focused on D was the difference.

He would have blown a couple of 4th down calls instead of kicking long field goals and lost by 6.
At least the corndogs get to enjoy another good week of meat riding Ole Miss

I’m not trying to be a dick, I’m really not, but I never thought I would ever witness a 12 win season by Ole Miss. I’m sure many of you Ole Miss fans agree with me.

I get that Ole Miss fans are mad that Lane left. But Lane also showed you and everyone else the potential of your program. I used to think Ole Miss was a complete dogshit program like Miss State or Arkansas. But now I view Ole Miss as a program more like Florida: if they have the right coach, they’re a threat.

I think as the years go by, Ole Miss fans will grow to better appreciate Lane’s time in Oxford.

Lane overall did a great job at Ole Miss. Had the exit happened almost any other way, I think most Ole Miss fans/alums would have been like, "good bye and good luck." It wasn't the leaving (although leaving for somewhere other than LSU would have been nice). It was trying to burn it down on the way out. But that's the Lane way, honestly. It's the risk you assume when you sign up.
