There will be a group of Louisiana citizens who object to their tax money being wasted in this manner.

Louisiana taxpayers are so used to having their tax dollars wasted I can't imagine they'd notice

I'll go with Arkansas. It's arguably the only other school in the SEC right now where basketball is first, plenty of tradition and fan support, last two coaches have won there, you can win a natty, and lots of money behind it.

I doubt Woodward is around when a new coach is hired.

Can't blame LSU, at all, but having the governor shout it from the rooftops doesn't help.

BTW, Landry is what you'd get if Ed Orgeron and Dennis Kucinich had a baby.
Whoa. This job just got a lot less attractive.

Gotta be Kiffin to get Kiffin money.

I'm not certain he couldn't have saved his job. Supposedly the ask from Woodward was to fire Joe Sloan, and Kelly wanted to fire the OL coach too, then things spiraled from there.

If true, what a selfish prick. Because he wanted to have a tantrum, the entire staff is looking for jobs. But, Kelly has his money, so who cares about anyone else?

I'd actually vote Indiana #1 right now.

A&M is top 3

Where does BK end up?

If Michigan State parts ways with Jonathan Smith, I think that's a gig he'd be interested in.
Harold Perkins. Arguable the most mishandled player in recent memory.
Saturday was the Brian Kelly era at LSU boiled down into a single evening. Flashes of what the team can achieve, followed by complete collapse, all while Kelly is screaming at coordinators, assistants, and players. The hope, the disappointment, the coach rage, the exhaustion from fans, players, boosters, and administrators. All on display.

Brian Kelly was a mishire, to be sure, but he did nothing to endear himself to anyone. If you're going to be a jerk, you better win, otherwise, no one will have your back when things take a turn.

Brian Kelly has been the head coach at Notre Dame and LSU. If he couldn't get it done at those places, he just can't get it done.

If Kiffin leaves, it won't be for money. He's said that himself.

Everyone has money. Yes, even X amount of money.

hat was BK doing to get his buyout down to 20mil…

Sounds like this was just social media talk.

Regarding Brian Kelly, as Meatloaf said, two out of three ain't bad

Indiana is legit, and Mendoza should be the Heisman front runner.

Tim Brandeaux: Brian Kelly isn’t going anywhere

I think Brando is right: BK gets one more year, but Joe Sloan doesn't make it to the Bama game.
