Who gives a shite. The only Alabama fans who would miss it are the fools who attend SEC days in late July. Which ain't many.

What is funny is LSU fans place billboards in Birmingham, not Tuscaloosa, to call out the SEC office. But Bama fans feel the need to place billboards in Baton Rouge. Why?

The SEC issued an apology since the official was obviously in the tank either against UA or for LSU. And the league was embarrassed. Truth is Bama has been the most put upon school in the league because of the winning tradition. When Kramer was commissioner you couldn't get a job as an SEC official unless you were from Tennessee. Oh they had tokens from other states but by in large most were from the Volunteer state.

Where the office is is no issue, move it around if it bothers folks. What matters is the commish and that is hardly an issue any longer. The schools now hire business guys from the outside as commish. Kramer was in Birmingham and the most anti-Bama guy around.

Move it back to Jackson MS where it originally was before Bama moved it to Birmingham to favor the officials.

I’m in favor of this. Even if the refs helped Ole Miss, they still couldn’t win shite.

Jackson has a very large LSU presence. Outside of the Media and Politicians, I'd say Jackson is more of a Mississippi State area just based on the fans I dealt with when I lived there(yes I've moved around quite a bit).

The biggest issue is - it's all really really stupid.

I'm surprised CBS didn't come down on him for just the general ignorance of the statement.

Dodd ran while he could since he couldn't beat Bama and then later admitted it was a huge mistake. It was and now GT is irrelevant as far as CFB and sports in general. And it has cost the school as an institution in a fashion that is hard to calculate.

Dodd was an egomaniacal douche.

Where should the league office be located? New York City?

Atlanta b/c it's the most central major travel hub for all conference members.

Right.... the league was so embarrassed about a third-quarter call that didn't even have a bearing on the outcome of the game that they issued a public apology.

ETA: The referee wasn't biased, but he was out of position to see the defensive pass interference. Big difference.

You do realize that is a penalty right? They apparently ruled it a force out without discussing it and when he clearly ran out on his own. The defender was already beat by 3 yards.

Not that it mattered really, you could see that we were ready to lose that game going into the 4th quarter.

It should be in Jackson MS because that was where the offices originally were. And the nearest SEC School is over 2 hrs away and not 30 mins.

Actually we’ve beaten 2 ranked teams. Miss. St (18) who destroyed A&M, and then of course Georgia (6). Nice try though.

Jackson,MS?? Have you been to Jackson?? They are even trying to move the zoo.. if a pot hole doesn’t wreck you into a pole, you will get shot. Jackson is worst than Memphis by far
