The penalty stats prove the exact opposite and they have been posted several times

how many of those penalties are procedural? How many judgment calls has Alabama had go their way as opposed to their opponents? It's not exactly up to the officials to make a judgment call on off-sides, false starts, illegal formation, etc. How many holding calls, PI calls, etc has Alabama gotten comparative to their competition? Alabama hasn't gotten a targeting call in 3 years. Do you really think no one has committed targeting in any game in 3 years? I'm not saying there is a conspiracy but there 100% is favoritism, just like there was with Florida and Tebow. To deny it is just dishonest.

I don't care if they move it. I just think it would be a waste of money that could be going to better things.

so you'd be perfectly fine with having the two most impactful people on football in the SEC home office both being LSU alumni?

Yes. Hell, both the basketball and baseball referee/umpire coordinators are from the Baton Rouge/New Orleans areas. I don't have an problems with them (and I'm a bigger basketball fan than football fan), just wish he would kick a few guys like Teddy Valentine to the curb.

Look, if I saw a kid steal a candy bar from the grocery store, I don't need somebody telling me the statistics on the kid's demographic or geographic area proving to me that the candy bar is, IN FACT, not in the kid's pocket.

You get the difference there?

It's kinda like people saying that Alabama has played the WORST pass defenses this season without taking in to consideration that Alabama TORCHED those teams through the air, which is more of the reason WHY they are the worst pass defenses in the nation. You would understand that viewpoint since it favors you, right?

Gullie nor Whitehead have any affiliation to LSU. They both have SELU degrees. Both Womack and Shaw are UAT alumni and Shaw, unless I'm mistaken, has kids currently in attendance there. Not even close to the same thing.

Well, you have to pay more for a new building, larger salaries for an area with a higher cost of living, etc. Money that could be going back to the universities, for better training of officials, etc.

Drops in the bucket to the SEC revenue wise. We're talking a move to the ATL metro area, not Manhattan.

And for me personally, it's not about the exact location of the SEC Office but the school affiliation of those in positions of oversight. The same problem exists in ATL as it does in Birmingham if the people remain the same.

Sigh. It has been posted on this board, multiple times, that Alabama has the least holding calls made against it’s opponents of any team in the nation. By far. shite, we went an entire season without having holding called against our opponents even one time. If that ever happens to LSU, I will be buying stock in billboard companies and retiring off the proceeds.

Now please, move the goalposts again.

Really because I have been asking on the rant every Spring for years if an SEC AD is going to propose it and they never do. Maybe this year Billy.....maybe this year.

Bama had a player throw 3 punches at an opposing player caught on live TV and replayed several times after the incident. I mean.....if the SEC office isn't going to do anything about that, it seems pretty clear.

Saban said on his presser “ I talked to the commissioner”. That is such a bad look for the commissioner. It’s one thing to say hi on a function but for official matters there is a hierarchy in place a competent commissioner talks to ADs not to head coaches. Sankey or however you spell his name is an idiot.

It's all fun and games until someone threatens to take away Bama's ability to cheat at will. Then they end back up in the days of Shula when the NCAA actually punished them for cheating every few years and they were lucky to get a 10 win season.

Here’s one how’s about penalties for Alabama as in against the other team. Let’s see the last 10 years where Bama is dead last or near it? LSU fans are starting to sound like the clintons where their statements don’t match the facts. But then again look at their hero The raging Cajun fitting he was so buddy buddy with them.

Actually they left because Bobby Dodd couldn’t beat CPBB. Plus an Alabama player cold cocked one of his players.I don’t remember the ref throwing a flag.
The player woke up on Sunday afternoon in time to catch the Coach Paul Bryant show on tv.
