Im getting flashbacks of Wheres Waldo

'I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing' In the book, Trump says — or the journalist Tony Schwartz, who ghostwrote "The Art of the Deal," says — that his dealmaking philosophy is simple. "I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I'm after," he says in the book. "Sometimes I settle for less than I sought, but in most cases, I still end up with what I want."

Its the way that most people negotiate salaries, houses, cars etc. Party A goes in high, party B goes in low and more times than not, you end up in a range where both parties thought they would settle anyways.

Its not anything revolutionary.
Just figured you would be on board with what the UConn coach is saying. The only way I see this as a bad statement on UConn is if the SEC tried to schedule them and UConn said no, and then coming out after selection show and publicly saying that the SEC wont schedule them.

If UConn wants to schedule SEC and fans want better OOC schedules, lets schedule UConn. They've been to what, 8 regionals in the last 10 years including 2 Supers?

I think it would a fun series. Has LSU ever played UConn in baseball?
quote:

Some of of you are blind or just willfully ignoring the crooked bullshite Trump is doing to line his and his family’s pockets.

I hate when this bullshite line gets thrown out there. In the last 30 years, Trump is the only POTUS where their net worth decreased upon leaving office.

And Mizzou beat them. Maybe if they didn't go 0-fer in Puerto Rico to Mizzou, Stetson, and Penn State they'd have gotten in.

100% agree.

But didnt you just say the other day that you have been screaming for years that LSU should play a better OOC schedule? Playing UConn would strengthen LSU's schedule. Dump teams like Purdue Fort Wayne and Omaha and add UConn.

I dont read this tweet as an attack on Putin. It is more like a heads up.
Damn what happened to Troy? They were a top 25 team there for a while. Some pitchers get hurt or something?

LSU will probably be 5 or 6. Calm down.
That really sad and its not said enough that DOGe came in guns a blazing, working long hours 7 days a week, and these retards in Congress feel righteous enough to stall.

I 100% agree. Vacations need to be cancelled. Go do your fricking jobs. You can vacation afterwards.
She's got some good tits. Zuckerberg got caught staring. That's about it though
Capacitors just arent built like they used to be (if anything is at all).

Its not that the capacitors break, they swell up because of the heat outside. They cant handle the heat down here in the South...ike its just recently gotten hot around here or something

They don't even want to be selfish pricks and stay in power.

Its easier to bitch about what you would do once you are in power, then to actually have the power and do something about it. When you are in power, you have to put up or shut up, and I honestly dont think either party WANTS to be in charge. I think they just want to be able to complain how the other party is doing it all wrong.

Remember, Affordable Heatlh Care? "Had to pass it to know what was in it" 6 years of bitching and moaning about how they would fix it. Then the Rs get the House, Senate and WH. Now they have the opportunity to do something and they all sit and stare at each other like a fricking deer in head lights.
If its only about this one scandal (spygate), then I think nothing happens. But I think the NCAA is looking at a few of the things will say there is a pattern here. If that is the case, it might be a harsher punishment than most think.

Michigan had a number of times they told the NCAA to go frick themselves in about a 2 year period.

Just an obligatory:

Selling rings and gear to pay for tattoos is not equal to this

nobody hated ichiro

One person did. They were the lone no vote on Ichiro being a unanimous HOF. Jeter called it out (he was one short too) with saying that these voters need to be called out.

Darren Ford, Ouachita, 6-2, Fr., 20.0

Hope we keep tabs on him because I would bet he will not be playing in Louisiana next season.

Just read and article that Ford is transferring to Ruston High School to be closer to family (a whole 30 min). I hope him and Hudson can compliment each other well.

All-State hooper Ford intends to transfer to Ruston High

Wasnt that just one game though?
Stats alone dont really prove anything IMO. Different games at different times. Johnson had some studs that he had to fight with to get tackles. Demario IS the talent most years

EDIT:

quote:

The game is so different now than it was 30 years ago making it hard to just compare stats. Pro Bowl and All Pro years are telling how these players were compared to the field.

That is what you said earlier, so not sure why you went all stat heavy now. If you go by your earlier metrics, then they are relatively close.

quote:

V Johnson:
Second-team All-Pro (1989)
4× Pro Bowl (1989–1992)

Demario:
First-team All-Pro (2019)
4× Second-team All-Pro (2020–2023)
2× Pro Bowl (2022, 2023)
