How many orders of the 100 count fingers, and how many jugs of sweet tea, and how many orders of the large crinkle cut fries do I need to get to help some friends out west? They’re a little down on their luck right now due to a bad investment and some general dumb frickery.

And don’t forget the Canes sauce…I’ll need a couple of quarts of that, I reckon.

I’d like to make a small dent in their outstanding obligations as anything is sure to help. They are good people for the most part.

TIA.
And both have been largely irrelevant on the historical college football landscape except for a couple of decades of glory.

The similarities in the two are crazy.

It would’ve been a perfectly legitimate and likely successful reason to not pay his buyout, but Alabama didn’t even have to play that card. Turned out the dumbass hadn’t signed his contract yet so there was no buyout to pay.

And that, LSU, is how you get rid of a coach!

These contracts are always negotiated.

Usually prior to signing the contract. That whole offer, acceptance, and consideration thingy.

It’s hilarious this board spent 4 years crucifying Brian Kelly, all of a sudden everyone on this board wants to be his legal counsel

That’s almost as funny as LSU lauding Kelly’s coaching prowess for 4 years and now claim he’s a bum that’s undeserving of his money.
You probably could’ve had him cheaper than Jimbo, unless Lane gets freaked out about male yell leaders.

That is probably a deal breaker.

We have him for 10 yrs. Good things are about to happen.

Seems like Kelly was perfectly fine to abide by the terms of that contract. LSU, not so much.

I've never understood the need to come to an anonymous message board to metaphorically scream at the sky that your new coach is gonna whistle zippity doo dah out of his a-hole. What do you get out of it even if you’re right? E-cred? Tuscaloosa gonna put your name in a thread title? SoG gonna put you in one of his simulations? HRV gonna name you poster of the year 167 times?

That was good.

If you are about to offer Cignetti $180 million over 8 years, what’s another $53 million to get rid of Kelly?

Member how people were aghast when we paid Saban $4 million a year?

I member.
Elko is fat and probably needs a quad bypass ASAP.

The best LSU can hope for is Saban giving them advice on who to hire

I think he recommended Houston Nutt as a replacement when he left in 2004. I think that he’d do the same now.

The article you named said Vama was still going to win even without the BS officiating. However, if I was a Bama fan, and we only beat this LSU team by 10, id be pretty concern3d.

The line was 10.5, won by 11. :dunno:

How does a factual post about the common opponents of the two highest ranked SEC teams indicate fear or insecurity?

It’s the volume of aTm posts over the past few weeks trying to justify their strength of schedule and position in the rankings. Just enjoy being #3 while it lasts.
You scared. And insecure.

I don’t trust sources wearing Gator gear while lamenting a 31-point loss to UK.
I almost wish that we could’ve traded off either MSU or Tennessee and kept LSU as our permanent opponent. I know I’m in the minority on the Tennessee series, but Volnation doesn’t do it for me as far as quality melts are concerned.

And that was after a delay of game penalty and a time out to avoid another delay of game.

Nussmeier’s career defined in a single series.
