No. 24 Mississippi State stayed unbeaten Saturday night with a 31-24 win over No. 19 Missouri at Davis Wade Stadium.
The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 14-0 lead before Missouri answered and eventually took control in the second half. The Tigers went ahead 24-17 in the third quarter, putting Mississippi State in position to need a late comeback.
Quarterback Kamario Taylor delivered when the Bulldogs needed him most.
Taylor helped Mississippi State score 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, including a 24-yard touchdown pass to Sanfrisco Magee with 3:57 remaining that broke a 24-24 tie and gave the Bulldogs the lead for good.
Taylor finished with 360 passing yards and three touchdowns as Mississippi State improved to 4-0 and picked up another ranked SEC victory.
Missouri fell to 3-1 with the loss.
