And with the amount of turnover every year from players entering the portal, it’s almost impossible to keep any continuity on the line and gel as a group when you are having to try and replace 2-3 starters every year because big boy wants a bigger payday.

That’s just it. You don’t hardly ever see players of Stewarts caliber hitting the transfer portal. Because hardly no team is just going to let their elite star player just walk out without panicking and going ape shite on the money offer to keep them.
Now I’ll say Caleb Downs was one of those elite guys that did go to the portal. But guys like him are an extreme rarity in the portal.

Its called his agent trying to stir the pot and get his name out there because he needs to get paid again but LSU didnt bite. I don’t think LSU ever had one ounce of interest in hiring Ed back. It was his agent and other people creating stories and it spread.

My man you need to keep up. LSU already has their man. Has had him since the day Kiffin was hired. And Moffet isn’t this elite strength coach that a lot of LSU fans wants to think he still is anymore. If you remember most LSU fans wanting him gone at the end of his tenure at LSU. Miami just pushed A&Ms shite in. Also you can’t judge how they looked against LSU because LSU had a pussy as a strength coach and it rubbed off on the players. Soft as baby shite. Every team looked more physical than LSU did.
Kevin Smith is a better overall actual coach and being able to develop RBs. I’m not worried in the least bit about Frank gone. Especially in the NIL era. LSU knows how to win titles without Frank. They’ve done it 3 times without him since 2000. I Think LSU will be just fine. Great as a matter of fact.
This is funny coming from a fan of a team that hasn’t won a championship since our grandparents were young, hasn’t won a single SEC championship game because they’ve never even played in the SEC championship game. Kinda sad that Ole Miss’s little brother Miss St has even played in an SEC championship game before Ole Miss has. Ole Miss is a stepping stone job. That is why Kiffin left y’all for LSU. Look, I want Indiana to beat Alabama as bad anybody out there. But i will not be surprised in the least bit if Alabama beats them. In fact I expect it. It won’t be a blowout but until a team that has never had success before can prove they can do it on the big stage then I’m going to go with the most successful football program in college history to win.
How is it untrue? Everything he said has been getting worse every year. If you think all of that is untrue after what’s been going on in the portal then you just aren’t paying attention at all or just in denial.
I don’t blame him. If I was an All American Dlineman for LSU and had a 10+ year All pro career in the NFL, I’d want to lay back and just enjoy life with family and no worries too.
