Baker thought Keys would be better suited for the ghost position against Kentucky. Meaning when the ball carrier is in his area he’s nowhere to be found.

Exactly. Kentucky has absolutely no rhyme or reason to hate Lane Kiffin but since that’s the ongoing trend this year they’d figure they might as well act like it too. Plum silliness from all these fanbases and media.

Sam Leavitt was considered the #1 overall portal player throughout the portal window and while yes he’s got his good moments but he’s far from elite or a game changer. Most teams will go bankrupt in order to keep their best players like Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy for example
Well Lane lost to his own players that he recruited at Ole Miss and LSU is just cursed at Kentucky so there’s that.

Spending lots of money on coaches and players still doesn’t win championships. Just ask A&M, Texas and Oregon. Hell ask UGA the past couple of years.
No, I just want a DC who isn’t scared to pressure the hell out of a QB no matter what team it is. Especially in critical drives

It’s like Lane and Weiss had to get desperate in order for LSU to be able to score on an average at best Kentucky defense. That’s what had me concerned even though we scored. LSU shouldn’t have to use gimmicky trick plays to score on a defense like Kentuckys.

It’s because Blake Baker has a Lou Tepper mindset when LSU needs to make a critical defensive stop against a decent team.
