What a stupid arse comment. If dorks like Les Miles and program killers like Ed O can win a national title at LSU, I’m pretty sure Lanning could accomplish that as well here. You act like Oregon has won several national titles over the past 25 years and not LSU. Oregon hasn’t won shite with any coach.
Firing Kelly mid season this year was impossible and would never happen either huh?

The more yall keep saying “not happening” makes me believe more and more that this thing may just happen.
The 14th thread of this same exact video in a weeks span is almost as good as the 1st one. Too bad I’m tired as hell of seeing this now.

8. Stop beating this dead horse for the 20th year in a row. LSU never had and never will consider hiring Jon Gruden. It baffles me how his name is still being brought up to this day.

Word had it that BK likes the number 29 better than 30 for personal reasons so he’s gonna take the $29 Mil instead of the $30 Mil
Yes, so the idiots on here that still want it defend Nuss can really see an in depth analysis on just how shitty of a QB he is.
At this point I feel like Landry is intentionally trying to run LSU athletics into the ground. He probably hated LSU growing up and now that he has power he’s going to take advantage of it.
So in other words the big LSU money guys aren’t willing to shell out the money to the football program to be a consistent title contender like the money guys for Oregon, Texas, Ohio State, A&M and many more?

I can understand it but it still sucks that many other teams big donors are willing to do what it takes to win championships and ours likes to pinch pennies.

Ryan Williams as well supposedly

Well you made it obvious that you don’t know much.
After the 288th thread on this same opinion, we get it. LSU will be forced to hire some no name from a division 2 school and eventually LSU will just shut the football program down, demolish Tiger Stadium and light a match and burn down the football ops building.

I’m so glad no one on this board is in charge of picking LSUs head coaches. Because some of y’all can name some shitty candidates. And even worse you are actually serious about it. Just like Gruden that always gets brought up for some stupid reason every time.
I heard through the grapevine that Saban had agreed to take the job only if LSU beats Arky by 3 TDs or more. And they have to accomplish that with Nuss only.

re: Drop the hammer on Kelly

Maybe so but Brian Kelly does deserve it. He’s a shitty human being and only cares about himself.
Uhhh, how about Joe Burrow for no money? Lmao

re: It better not be Sumrall

Posted by chadr07 on 11/9/25 at 9:45 pm to
Yes but LSU is in no position right now to be taking chances on whether or not a G5 coach will succeed in the SEC. They know they have to get this hire right and I don’t see Verge and LSU taking any chances with guys like Sumrall unless they just strikeout on literally all of their top targets and have to get desperate and get him.
So they would’ve been only terrible with Sloan instead of horrible like last night? Got it

re: Who is your melt candidate?

Posted by chadr07 on 11/9/25 at 7:48 pm to
Drinkwitz or Coach Klein from WaterBoy
Give it up please. LSU is more likely to convince Nick Saban out of retirement than to lure Joe Brady back to college coaching anywhere.
