Business Insider

“Business Insider identified the repair shop owner as John Paul Mac Isaac, an avid Trump supporter who couldn't get his facts straight when reporters later questioned him about the timeline of events laid out in the Post's story.”

“The outlet said it learned of the emails' existence last month through Steve Bannon, the former White House chief strategist, and obtained them through Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer.”

“Both men have routinely pushed conspiracy theories about the Biden campaign's ties to Ukraine, and Giuliani met last year with a Ukrainian official who was sanctioned in September and accused of acting as a Russian agent.”
Just read the article. I know reading can be tough sometimes. This is purely based on facts and it’s very comprehensive.

So you would have preferred the US to ban citizens from returning home?

I stated no opinions of my own. Simply provided facts. Not at all, but due to our insufficient testing, thousands could have slipped through the cracks. Nearly the entire world is struggling with their testing as we all know, but I expected the US to be better. The CDC botched testing initially and delayed us for weeks.

Trump limited travel from China and Europe didn't

On January 31, the same day the United States announced its restrictions, Italy suspended all flights to and from China. But unlike the American restrictions, which did not take effect until February 2, the Italian ban applied immediately.

The U.S. ban applied only to foreign nationals who had been in China during the previous 14 days, and included 11 categories of exceptions. Since the restrictions took effect, nearly 40,000 passengers have entered the United States from China, subjected to inconsistent screenings.
The CDC and FDA fricked up. That is a proven fact. Had they not screwed up, we would not have been so far behind in testing. It’s in that article. I’m not bashing Trump here, all I was trying to do was let you guys know what happened that led to us being here. This was about the CDC and FDA
Happy to expand. On March 5th we had done 8,842 tests. They had done 146,541 tests.
And it took a very long time for us to even make a dent in that. Even though we had our first cases on the same day, they were way ahead of the curve compared to us in the beginning which helped their response tremendously.
They’ve still done nearly 2 times more than we have per capita which is not a small amount.
South Korea has tested about 460,000 to their 51 million people. We’ve done about 1.8 million to our 330 million people
So per capita, they’ve done a better job than we have. There was a much larger difference until this past week. They ramped things up early while we struggled mightily.
While they were testing 10,000 a day we were testing 2,000.

Taiwan and Singapore according to Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security
We should have been the most prepared country on the planet for this outbreak. No one could have fathomed how far behind we’d be in testing at this point.
On the Global Health Security Index, a report card that grades every country on its pandemic preparedness, the United States has a score of 83.5, the world’s highest. We should be in a much better situation right now. Testing is the tip of the iceberg. What evidence have you seen that suggests our testing will ramp up significantly this week? We’ve finally started averaging 100,000 a day.
Truly remarkable statistic to look at. Especially with what we know of this being spread through individuals that are asymptomatic. If only we could have responded as well as countries like South Korea.
The article below explains how the CDC and FDA botched testing initially. Also expands on how we got so far behind in testing. It’s nearly impossible to make accurate predictions with such little data.
We still have no clue how many people actually have it or how many have died from it.
Not the most recent article but very informative. Scroll down a little to get to the bulk of it all if you don’t feel like reading everything.

I seriously doubt it buddy. We skull fricked Georgia after that Florida loss. For whatever reason, we don’t show up for the Florida games like we should every year. Remember the last time you guys played us? 42-7 lol
Actually we’ve beaten 2 ranked teams. Miss. St (18) who destroyed A&M, and then of course Georgia (6). Nice try though.
The lack of awareness resides solely with you guys. Remarkably, you think you’re actually good every year. Which decade do you think you’ll beat us? I predict somewhere around 2028-2029, conservatively speaking of course. Please leave this conference and go to the PAC 12 where you belong. What a disgrace lol.

I know you’re just messing with us but I’ll play along. Our strength of schedule is #2 in the country.

LSU's overall opponent record in 2018:
LSU 39-20
Michigan 34-23
Florida 29-22
Clemson 29-18
Notre Dame 28-23
UGA 27-23
Oklahoma 26-22
Texas 25-24
Alabama 28-30
UCF 16-32
Could not agree more. I would think it’s been at least 10 years since we’ve had this many quality wins in the regular season.
