Bama will be exposed Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Arkansas scored 31 points on Bama. Arkansas. Think about that. Bama beat only one ranked team this year. When you have a weak schedule then the stats are always distorted.

They scored 30 on Alabama in 2016. LSU managed 0.

You've lost me. So the theory of Bama getting favoritism by the officials and/or SEC HQs was also still circulating in Baton Rouge during the 1993-2007 timeframe?
If so, that's retarded as we sucked minus a random year or 3 and also we got about 3-4 NCAA Sanctions.

Surely I misunderstood you OR you completely invalidated your own argument.

Bingo...move that office out of Bama and see how the sister fukers do..

And remove both Womack and Shaw from their roles. I'd venture a guess no gump would be happy if the SEC home office was located in Metairie and the two most influential people there concerning football were both LSU almuni, one with kids currently in attendance there unless I'm mistaken.

But I'm sure they'll continue to lecture us on how our concerns are totally unfounded and without merit.

FOIA the Sec office
would be interesting to read the 30,000 emails between the Bama boosters/rec/officials and the league office...or are they missing too

I simply said that Birmingham isn't the best place for the headquarters to be located. In fact I led in saying this topic is usually "overblown." Sounds like you're being the irrational one here.

Of course the SEC office is biased. Why else would they have their headquarters in that ghetto city Birmingham?

You're going to find a conspiracy or a reason to piss and moan no matter what. The conspiracy theories would just morph to "Well, I know why UGA is playing in the SEC champ game every year", completely glossing over them already being established by a good coach and better recruiting.

Wrong.

The SEC could take major strides towards objectivity and transparency by requiring those in oversight and officiating positions have no ties to any SEC school.

As it stands right now, the two most impactful people on SEC football both hold degrees from UA. Do you not see how this could be a major conflict of interest for the Conference? If you don't think there's any conflict, then you'd fully support these two positions being filled by people with no direct ties to any SEC school, would you not?

Many comments on Yahoo sports are calling for Alabama and the SEC to be investigated.

A) As for the other poster who said they just wanted it moved from Bham at least because of the optics of being biased. Fine, I'm completely ok with that.
Move it wherever and I think as long as Nick Saban and that recruiting pipeline still are great that it won't matter.
However, as soon as Saban left and if the recruiting fell off and more losses piled up - would you attribute it to Saban leaving or the SEC HQ getting moved?

Sure. Sounds great but I have a feeling that the people applying for those positions or being "given" those positions are in the good ole boy system. That's a whole different argument that stems much bigger than the SEC HQ. That's simply life in America.

Same as my last statement. In terms of optics, sure but in terms of if that's even possible given the talent pool, applications to those jobs and the good ole boy system, it is what it is.

I'd ask when they were appointed to those jobs. Cause if it were anytime prior to 2007, then see my other point in previous posts cause that's when Bama sucked and it negates the argument.

This is the exact type of response that Bama fans have to post, because they have no real grounds for a response.

Put ridiculous words into the mouth of the OP and generalize an entire fanbase and call names. Spot on.

LSU fans literally do the exact same thing. Rock, glass house so on and so forth etc...
