90 miles? WTF are you talking about. Yea inner city Houston is 90 miles. Cypress and Tomball, which are counted part of outskirts of Houston, are barley 60 miles away from College Station. The "Metro Areas" that are being counted for these college towns are just as far out. Some at least an hour away.

Metro Starkville population doesn't count the MSU population that is 1 inch outside the city limits

If they are going to do that might as well count Houston part of College Station. Right down the road.
College Station to Houston - 96.8 miles
Auburn to Atlanta - 108.1 miles
Might as well count Auburn as part of Atlanta, with that logic...and of course, Oxford is less than 90 miles from Memphis.

Starkville and Tuscaloosa are 82 miles apart

What’s going on in Auburn besides AU related things? I didn’t know there was more to that area than the university.
Lots of manufacturing within an hour of Auburn, one of the best school systems in the state, within an hour of the largest lake in the state. There is a lot of good things happening within an hour of Auburn.

I had no idea Starkville was that small.
The word "stark" literally means "severe or bare in appearance".

good thing the town is named after a Revolutionary War hero, General John Stark

Auburn is in a great spot for growth. It's a relatively short drive from Birmingham (especially the nicer suburbs south of town). It's less than 2 hours form Atlanta.
I think that how close Auburn is to Atlanta is often over looked. I can make it from Auburn to Atlanta in about an hour and 15-20 minutes if there isn’t very much traffic, and I-85 south of Atlanta doesn’t have as much traffic as GA-400 or other highways around ATL do.

Columbia, Missouri has the highest per capita population of SJWs in the world!

I knew three professors at Auburn who commuted from Atlanta.

Auburn has 161k people? That's my holy shite fact of the day. I would've guessed it was the same size as Oxford or Starkville.

No you can't...not unless your going 95mph the entire trip.
What exactly do you consider "Atlanta" anyway? The southern suburbs?

It's 108 miles from Atlanta to Auburn and 148 from Cumming to Auburn...noboby is making the Atlanta commute in an 1 and 15 mins and it's a stretch at best,
to make it under 2 from Cumming and nobody is making that time during normal business hours...not close.
