Agreed.
I too am shocked that the NCAA created an environment which rewards the haves & punishes the have nots

Taking care makes it easier to come back. The stronger you are & the better shape you are in makes a huge difference in rehab.

I snow skied for 15 straight years, after surgery, and never had a problem.

I’m old & fat now, but it’s not my knees that bother me LOL
I had knee reconstruction waaay back. So long ago that I have a cadaver tendon in my knee.

My ortho made the remark that if they invented a game where you got points for wrecking the other teams knees, it would look a lot like football
I remember thinking that he could have nerve damage because it looked so violent & severe.
A Southern Miss player had to have his lower leg amputated because of the damage from a knee injury. Blood flow never recovered.
State had a d-lineman die on the operating table from complications due to a broken leg.
These kids risk a lot to play a game

I quit college sports a few years ago.
-No more $ for levels just to be able to purchase club tickets.
-No more $ for levels just to be able to purchase parking passes.

By the time the NIL letters arrived I had already found a life without college sports.
These threads are always tiresome.

NOBODY goes into coaching the if they prioritize $ or where they live.

To someone who has chosen to coach baseball as a profession, MSU has everything they could ask for, because MSU has been asked for it & has either built it or provided it ( whatever “it” is)
When Spare the Rod goes wrong.

I could imagine my college aged self making that call.
I,too, was an idiot.
I could not imagine the ensuing call from my old man

By example, would a coach rather be at Chapel Hill making more money or Starkville, Mississippi making less. I know they have good fans but, it's Starkville.

We’re hiring a baseball Coach, not an interior designer.

(I hope)
Do the pearl-clutching talking heads really not understand why he hasn’t been picked?
They can’t be this myopic
Interesting.
I like seeing the numbers.

Both programs get their pick of talent nationally, too
Leave the booger sugar.
