Most boomers and Gen Xers were raised largely financially illiterate. Some
Boomers were so financially illiterate that they became the wealthiest generation in US history
I'm thinking. The over age 50 defaults are probably due to signing or co-signing a student loan for their children to go to college.

So because Alabama typically wins, they should never have a prime time game?
Yes Bama should play all games at 11:00 AM on the SEC Network

They got 1 title and won't win another for a long time.
Their new coach brought half the VA team with him to State. State will be in the mix for a top 8 seed this year.
State had to order some big boy unis for some of these guys

they are scrambling to put together a 120m 10 year deal for Lane right now.
MS law will not allow a 10 year deal for a state employee

I’m serious when I say this, but I think Dan Mullen could bring a lot of stability to Auburn, and they need it at this point.
Cohen would not hire Mullen & Mullen would not work for Cohen. That bridge was burned when Mullen left State for Florida.
re: Where did Hugh Freeze spend the evening after getting fired?

He took the family to Jack's to get the Hughnormus Freeze with cheese coaches burger but it was no longer on the menu

Kiffin could give zero shits about who is paying the most. HE IS FOCUSED ON FAMILY
He would have more family time as an NFL coach. If he's coaching the Dolphins he can dock his boat at his water front mansion
Why else would you wear a ski mask in Miami when its 73 degrees

It’s gotta be within the ballpark he made here.
You think Saban was paying Butch Jones, Kiffin, or Sark in the ballpark of what they were making as a head coach?

He will never leave that post or his lake house
The beach house is nicer than the lake house
Bret Bielema was sued by the Razorback Foundation over a contract dispute after he was fired as the University of Arkansas's head football coach in 2017. The lawsuit, which settled in April 2021, centered on the buyout clause in his contract, specifically the foundation's claim that he did not make "best efforts" to find a new, high-paying job. In the settlement, Bielema received a reduced payout of $8.085 million of the original $11.935 million agreement.
The lawsuit and its claims
Bielema's lawsuit: Bielema initially sued the Razorback Foundation in June 2020 for breach of contract, alleging the foundation owed him unpaid buyout wages.
Foundation's counterclaim: The foundation counter-sued, claiming Bielema and his agent allegedly schemed to take an artificially low salary from his new job with the New England Patriots to reduce the amount the foundation owed him.
Bielema's defense: Bielema argued that he had made best efforts to find a new job and that his new role with the Patriots was not in violation of the contract.
The settlement
Resolution: In April 2021, the two parties reached a settlement to end the dispute.
Payout: Bielema was paid $8.085 million, which was a portion of the $11.935 million originally owed to him under the contract.
Agreement: As part of the settlement, Bielema released the Razorback Foundation from an additional $3.85 million in payments.
Other key points
The lawsuit involved the New England Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick, who were subpoenaed to testify about Bielema's salary.
The settlement meant the Patriots would avoid having to divulge internal information about their coaching salaries and operations.

I’m sure Ole Miss is working on a hell of a contract extension
Kiffin already has the maximum extension allowed by MS law. His current contract automatically extends 1 year when he wins the 7 game of the season. All OM can do is offer more money/incentives/perks. His current contract is through 12/31/31.
GM eliminating Carplay & Android Auto from all future vehicles
Posted by weadjust on 10/25/25 at 3:37 pm
General Motors is eliminating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from all future vehicles – and it’s already maddening motorists.
In their place will be GM’s own built-in interface, powered by Google’s Android Automotive OS, with Barra arguing in an interview with The Verge that it will allow for “a smoother, safer, and more unified user experience.”
According to AutoBlog, “GM’s long-term goal is to turn its vehicles into ‘software-defined platforms,’ unlocking revenue from subscriptions and in-car services.”

Got a name? Where is he now?
Chris Hess. He said that stuff on this season of Hard Knocks Buffalo on HBO. The QB coach was working w Josh & had all kinds if high tech stuff to measure every aspect of Josh's throwing motion. The set up looked like a fancier version of a golf swing analyzer.
The segment on Hard Knocks was longer than whats in this youtube video.
