I don't know if I can rank them per se but I like LSU's, Bama's and A&M's the best. I also really like Arkansas' (Fayetteville) stadium

Singularly perhaps the most overrated entity in all of sports. It’s a very average stadium, and the atmosphere is only decent at night vs. formidable opponents. If LSU is losing, they have a game day atmosphere on par with Kentucky.
ETA: That being said, on average - LSU’s stadium and stadium experience is in a different stratosphere than Texas or Oklahoma.

All but Vandy’s stadium have had significant makeovers since the SEC took over college athletics. VU recently committed to a $300 million renovation of its main facilities.
You’re not going to be visiting any dumps in the SEC. there are very few facilities for any sports that haven’t been upgraded.

None taken. Yup, construction had started which can't help. I will be the first to admit when an Ohio State, LSU, Notre Dame/whomever comes to town it's on par with anyone, our issue that has always pissed me off is that it's not brought like that 100% of the time - but I get it - big 12 opponents aren't sexy and that energy isn't there. The other issue is stupid arse advertisements would blast through the actual organic gameday experience. I don't want to hear a damn Taco Bell ad, I want to hear Texas Fight chant rocking the stadium, the band, the FANS. Thankfully AD Del Conte has made these kinds of mass overhauls and changes. Incoming SEC fans will be surprised when they take the road trip to Austin. Gameday and tailgating is extremely welcoming - I hope that was your experience.

this is rich coming from someone who plays their game at Bryant Denny. That crowd sits on their hands way too much for a school of their stature.
What does Bryant Denny have to do with LSU’s stadium being overrated?
The aesthetics, luxury, and comfort of Bryant Denny make it among the best in the country. If we were grading based on atmosphere alone, it would be a different conversation.

I'd like to say that's just because our home schedule is straight up garbage, but our atmosphere was boring even when we/the big 12 were good. We're a below average gameday experience.

Kentucky has a great stadium. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my trips to Lexington. Atmosphere needs work.

Texas stadium is trash compared to most in the SEC.
They’re adding a uterus to the end zone

I’ve been there every other year since 2013. I wouldn’t consider it more luxurious than your typical SEC stadium. I sat general seating in the lower bowl
ETA: I just remembered they’re in the middle of a major renovation. Is that finished?.
ETA2: holy shite. That was announced 3 years ago? Covid has seriously fricked with my medium range sense of time.

The horn there is a dumb aesthetic in my mind - if for no other reason than you can literally put a few hundred people in seats there, makes no sense to me.
But filling in the stadium for that endzone is definitely something that needed to happen.

There's no place like Tiger Stadium for the atmosphere, Aubie is number two. Bama is trash...

It's not, really. The upper end zones are ironically the nicest sections but lower bowl is basically what you said: it's a very old stadium concealed by newer structures

I’m going to say LSU is the best just because I’m biased. I for one though think Auburn is highly underrated. I’ve been to Auburn many of times and it can get pretty wild there. One of the best college atmospheres in college football.

I haven’t been to Fayetteville since the mid-aughts but I thought it was one of the better stadiums at the time because the amenities and vendors.

Alabama and Texas A&M have the nicest stadiums. LSU and Auburn had the best atmospheres. I don't think Williams Brice is that nice of a stadium but I would put it in the Top 5 SEC atmospheres.

Vandy stadium is byob, last time LSU played their they drank the place dry before halftime. If not for some quick thinking with beer trucks arriving right before halftime, it could have turned into an English soccer match.
LSU fans donated 4 million to the athletics program the first year beer was allowed in Tiger Stadium. I believe it can be topped in the coming year.

14. Vandy (the only bad environment, but an awesome location)
13. Ole Miss (the stadium’s a dump, but the bbq nachos are great, as is the tailgating)
12. Mizzou
11. South Carolina
10. Kentucky
9. Miss State
8. Arkansas
7. Tennessee (it’s big and the ambiance is awesome, but it’s way too quiet and polite)
6. Auburn (not the best at anything, but absolutely solid at everything. It’s basically LSU dialed back a half-notch)
5. Florida (really only gets rocking when LSU is in town, but when it’s on, it’s almost unbeatable)
4. Alabama (big and beautiful, but obstructed views and tame atmosphere)
3. Georgia
2. A&M (has been electric since the remodel)

As most have noted, there really are very few "bad" stadiums if you are a big program/team coming to town (like Texas).
State, for example, has done tons of renovations and has a great little stadium now that gets loud as hell. Carolina's atmosphere is bonkers when they are even the least bit competitive. Neyland is as loud as any venue in America when they have the slitest hope of being good.
It's the best road trip league in the country. Not sure there is a close second. You grow up in this league as a kid/college student planning trips to other schools - all of them.
