Probably gonna be fired at Clemson next year. Now he can restart his clock at a sec school.
Yes

He's a decade younger than Kelly
Not in age. He’s running out of time in popularity. People wanting him.

They are actively trying to court James Franklin
You got me on this one, but a lot of people think Franklin was fired prematurely. Dabo is looking washed up already.

It’s the perception of it.
No way Elko goes anywhere. He will get whatever he wants.

On ACC Network counting his money with Jimbo then some random job that is as good as Arkansas.
You don’t know what he wants. I disagree. He’s running out of time like Kelly.

They want him at 4-5 but not if he's fired after 5-7?
Yes. They would. Ask them. And nobody wants a fired coach.

He was probably trying to bail during the last carousel. His name was floating around.

Now he’s seeing the writing on the wall and going to a pretty rich SEC school may be his last chance. The best he can do.

He's going up a level if he's going from the ACC to the SEC.
If he’s fired from Clemson, where does he end up? Arky wouldn’t even want him.

This makes a lot of sense.

I think they’re both unhappy and may want to move on. Think if we were in the same situation? We kind of were with Les.

Not saying it’s a perfect comparison. Just similar in motivation. If Clemson is unhappy, Dabo may want to bail. The Arky contract may be more than a Clemson buyout and no more coaching on a high level.

I’m just saying it’s believable.

It’s going to be this guy isn’t it

But why would he go there from Clemson? It doesn’t make sense
To me, it would be similar to what BK did. Clemson starting to come up with an exit plan in the next 3 years. Dabo wants to cash in before the real heat starts. I’m just saying it makes sense and we’ve seen it before. Jimbo did it too.
This makes the most sense of anything I’ve heard tbh.

Don’t be surprised to see him on the sidelines Saturday. If not we can fire him for cause for not showing up for work.
Im sorry. I know that would be terrible. But also hilarious land awesome at the same time.
It’s obvious LSU is just making threats to Kelly and Kelly is making it public. You can disagree with the threats, but it’s negotiating. Obviously he’s been fired or they wouldn’t be having the negotiations to begin with.

“Hey, take the 27 million because you shouldn’t even deserve that. We have cause and can go back and fire you for it since you were never fired properly in the first place.”

That’s what’s going on. LSU believes Kelly is asking for too much. It’s not in his contract that he gets a lump sum. LSU is not required to do so. They’re only required to pay him his salary every month. They believe that what Kelly is asking is too much.
That’s not as much as I was thinking. Still quite a bit. And not something lsu is required to do. Period. They can just continue paying him monthly for 6 years and force him to follow his contract like he agreed to do. Kelly agreed to it. Why is everyone attacking lsu?

Regardless, this public thrashing of LSU is simply a stronghold tactic. The one playing hardball is Kelly.

He wants close to it yes. Some numbers being thrown around is. I’ve heard 50 million. That’s close. And doesn’t want to do what he agreed to when he signed the contract.

Kelly is playing hard ball people
The cause stuff is probably just behind closed doors negotiations that Kelly decided to make very public. It’s all negotiation tactics. Basically saying “Hey, take the 27 million because you’re lucky to get that considering X, y, z.” What that X, y, z is idk, but Kelly is the one playing hard ball people. He wants all of his money instantly and doesn’t want to do what he agreed to do when he signed the contract. I was shocked when I saw the narrative that was being painted. It’s a narcissism tactic.

Right now? Obviously. That would be a pretty sick. PR move for us.
