It’s been unacceptable no doubt. But you’re down two starters and relying on way too many bullpen arms that you wouldn’t if you had Evans and Moore. I think things are different if Evans and Moore are healthy especially with how the offense is performing right now.

We finally got a pitcher on the mound filling up the zone and there’s the bad defense we all know very well. I’ve been more optimistic than most but I really can’t wait for this season to be over at this point.

The Phelps at bat was sketchy to me last night. Phelps turned on Guidry fastball in. Then spit on probably Guidry’s best breaking ball all year. Then Guidry throws him a meat ball but he was sitting on it. That at bat is what made me question things. The way he turned on that inside fastball is something I haven’t seen all year. I’m probably crazy but it just seemed off too me.

.240 last year to .380 this year. That’s a wild jump especially for a power hitter. Sketchy if you ask me.

Not a complicated game. Just throw strikes. I feel like Yeskie pitch calling asks too much out of these average at best pitchers we have. Sometimes you got to just lean on their best pitch.
