I gurantee you 90 percent of the people that ranked all 14 stadiums in this thread have only been to a couple of them.

This post gives me a weird Yogi Berra vibe...

Although it hasn't been loud in a long time Greg McElroy said it was the loudest stadium he has ever played in and that was before the North endzone was done

Yeah it gets VERY loud when we're not awful but the atmosphere has been bad since 2016. Product on the field just hasn't been worth showing up for.

That year when we forced the fumble on Chad Kelly to win the Ole Miss game, ESPN said it was a top 5 decibel level they've ever recorded at the time for a college football game. Miss those days. 2010 Alabama was deafening as well, stadium was shaking after the TD on our first drive.

10. Mizzou

Stadium itself
1. A&M
2. Bama
3. LSU

Ole Miss’ stadium is pretty shite. All they have going for them is the tailgating atmosphere. Actual in-stadium game experience was sub par at best. Fun trip though we won 48-44 and ran the opening kick back for a TD.

I went to the Bama-OU game in Norman in 2002 or 2003, and the atmosphere wasn't that much different than most of the SEC atmospheres.

I was referencing the smaller schools' atmospheres in the Big12 compared to the SEC.

As previous posters have said, LSU really is only wild for big night games. But its pretty much objectively the loudest and most raucous atmosphere you will come across for those big night games. When its loud, its fricking deafening.

Consistency-wise, I'd say A&M and UF are tied for the most consistent volume regardless of opponent or time of day. Both are amazing atmosphere's no matter who they line up against.

Auburn is the one that most surprised me. I have been impressed every time I've been. At times it can reach A&M/UF levels.

Will be half empty by middle of the 3rd quarter on September 11th. Looking forward to that trip.

Meh.. I expect that game similar to our last Texas bowl.

A&M's stadium is a lot quieter than I thought it would be for the 3 times I've been there. Nothing to write home about.

The A&M fans don't yell like other fans. They have this weird "yuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr" droning noise they all make. It's weird.

Arkansas hasn’t been there in a long long time, and when you were there it was in the middle of a rainstorm and we blew out so I can understand that

I actually wasn't there for an Arkansas game. I was there for the Florida game in 2012, 2010 for the OU game and 2008 for Miami.

Very weird. It's not near as loud as their fan base thinks it is.

Wow, you heard it here first. Fans are less excited when their team is losing

Any other hot takes?

We were only allowed to have 30,000 people in a stadium that seats 103,000 are you really going to use that as a shining example? That doesn’t make any sense and he already said that wasn’t one of the years he visited
