Screw all the nooner games and why in the world do you wanna cut ESPN down to one game? It goes into far more households than the SECN

I mean we started a network for a reason.

The SEC needs a game in that 11:00 AM window for exposure sake.

CBS gives you the absolute most exposure, so that's why I'd stick with them over ESPN for the best games.

my vote is Fox if they can get Buck and Aikman to do college games, if not, ABC. but why would ABC buy content they dont have room for? would NBC flex their SEC game to another timeslot if it conflicts with ND? more night games would be awesome.

It's also the idea of bringing in an SEC guy who has the most experience and knowledge of the conference, not just a purdue guy who slobs Bamas Knob every year.

ComcastNBC is rumored to be one of the networks that wants to get more involved with CFB and has an eye on the SEC

I'm also wondering what impact the time slot will have. In a new contract, if the one Game will have no other SEC games in the time slot, since right now the 3:30e/2:30c game sits alone

Honest question, would the premier league really bring in more money than SEC football prime matchups, or is it that they have invested so much into the premier league to not want to back page it?

Because you’re right, a ND game followed by one or two big time SEC matchups would quite literally print money for that station.
There is going to be a big fight among the networks for the next Premier League deal. NBC does well with it--and, it's hugely important for their cable network. If NBC loses that fight, it will give them more money to bid for college football.

I met a couple one time while on vacation from Canada. The guy was OBSESSED with SEC football despite having zero connections to any school. He says he watches the CBS game religiously each Saturday.... from Toronto. That's pretty cool.

I’ve heard similar from Canadians visiting down in Sarasota. Their only connection is watching games on CBS and they’ve picked teams they liked. Many UF because they travel to Florida.

CBS. It’s just time for Gary to go. He had a great run. I LOVE the CBS studio guys and analysts (except for New weasel ).

ABC with Blackledge. I personally love night games. I absolutely hate the 3:30 pm slot

I don't necessarily disagree, but who replaces him?

Go after Blackledge?

I'd rather keep Danielson, where I KNOW how annoying he'll be than go after someone who ends up being more annoying.

CBS, any other answer is wrong.

If it's Fox that's an absolute disaster.
