Earlier Scone and Theriot were talking up Denbrock to be some great HC candidate. That’s their opinion, but it is somewhat of a head scratcher
Basically their premise was it would be a cheap deal and he’s likable.
So…Old coach who has never been a HC that moved away from the SEC to be with family back home, makes total sense coming back to LSU.

I think he has a small injury. Several
passes seemed to lack the usual zip. Some good throws were made too. Got Southeastern this week, then a week to rest before going to Oxford.

Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like the only openers Les team wasn’t a favorite or TD plus favorite was Oregon in 2011 and TCU in 2013.
Lost an embarrassing game to Wisconsin where LSU was -10.5.
Also almost blew the game with complacent 2nd half offense vs UNCs 2nd string in 2010 after they suspended many key players.
