Louisiana is the beneficiary of a new SpaceX investment worth $100 billion dollars, several new meta data centers, a new multi billion dollar Hyundai steel plant, and numerous other new capital projects. The state does suck and is working to get better.
You don’t see people on a sporting website constantly bitching about Georgia cheating to get Potato Biden elected 5 years ago.

Paul Finebaum as a Tenn grad has always been odd. He seemingly loved LSU coaches like Brian Kelly and Les Miles when Saban had a "recruiting" advantage over the entire country.
Maybe he feels threatened by the fact that Bama no longer has said recruiting advantage, and Lane Kiffin is not going to be the Alabama coach?

Exactly. It’s July. 8 months after the greatest run of Ole Miss football in a large majority of the fanbases lifetime. 8 months after the previous, highly successful Head Coach basically told the Ole Miss program they are “less than” and left for a rival. Those factors primarily lead to a better than usual class in the short term. People don’t like getting told they are less than. It triggers emotion, which triggers things like donating, and what better time to do it than in the time interest has peaked for a large majority of the fanbases life due to a great season?
Nothing against Golding either. Hell, he might be the next Nick Saban for all we know (we don’t because he’s been a head coach 3 games).
