I think he will go very early. Have you seen some of the QBs to go early in the 1st round the last couple of years? Tua is going in the top ten, probably top 5.

Tua will most likely be drafted in the mid to late 1st round to a team with an aging veteran. He will get to sit for a year or so, getting healthy and learning the playbook.

He'll most likely end up in a better long term situation than Burrow.

Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Kyler Murray, Daniel Jones all went in the top ten in the last two years. Tua isn’t dropping out of the top ten, still it’s true that he will end up in a better situation than Burrow because Burrow is going number 1 overall.

Worry about Bryce Young. Kid is the best QB to come out of HS since the Fields Lawrence class.

Unless he needs more time to rehab, he’s gone.

And rightfully so.

Good luck to him and a long and prosperous NFL career.

After the dust settles and everyone seems confident of his recovery he is going first round.

He is gone

you think a team is going to burn a 1st round pick on "may never be the same"?

One thing I don't think Tua is, is stupid. Playing one more down of college football would be stupid. He won't be a Heisman-winning #1 overall pick now, but he will be a Top 10 pick and wind up with a better O-line and supporting cast than the #1. He would be wiser to sit out a year than to come back and play for Alabama. By the way, Alabama is going to be just fine.

hope he has his star studded receivers come back then....their YAC and speed big part of Tua's success.

He may sit this draft to fully recover, but even then it may not be in his best interest to play in College again. Not an expert on these things but just what seems more logical.

If this rehab goes the way that it's supposed to, and Tua can run and throw for teams before the draft, then he'll still be a top-10 pick.

He doesn't need to risk further injury and he'll still be a top 20 pick if the rehab goes as planned.

He is going to be a top 20 pick regardless and if the rehab goes smoothly, he will be the steal of the draft.

Honest question for anyone...

Can/will he heal well enough before the combines to demonstrate that he is worth the same or close to what he would have without the hip injury?

I think Tua still gets drafted early first round, upside is too high

Tua has played for less than 2 full seasons and already had 3 surgeries. You think he would stay and most likely end up getting another?

That boy going to get his money

I'm not sure if the rehabilitative prognosis will be fleshed out enough by draft time for someone to take the risk (especially for a team that needs a QB NOW), especially when there are a decent bit of draftable QBs around.
