re: Seinfeld: Hollywood is OVER.
He started that years ago when he quit doing stand up at colleges b/c he couldn't handle that young people no longer liked his act.
which is weird because 1. Seinfeld is pretty funny 2. He isn’t exactly a race based comic. He’s not dave chapelle. ...

re: I'm starting to see how ATL rationalized taking Penix

Kirk’s contract is somewhat front loaded but his dead cap in 2 years is still 25 million.
It’s still rough. what if Penix is THE GUY. that’s a hard contract to eat to turn the ball over to Penix. ...

I feelmlike there are benefits to sitting a QB but the way rookie contracts work if you sit them 3 years you have 2 years to figure out if you’re going to give them 50 million dollars.
You also waste most of your year with an affordable QB. ...
re: Can we admit that the only reason people thought Sean Payton was a good coach

the offense was still functional with Teddy and Winston towards the end, but obviously Brees really took his offense into gear.
that being said, very few teams are great with bad or even mediocre QBs.
Thats why I have a ton of respect for a guy like Shannahan. He’s had some shite QBs and alway...

honestly I am not seeing a ton of love for the Penix pick
he turns 24 in like a week.
They just signed Cousins to a 4 year deal, but he’s movable after 2 the way it’s structured. So yoi have to feel pretty confident he is THE man and will be around a long time because he maybe isn’t starting a...
Ahh my childhood memory has failed me. Guess I just remember them all three being projected as potential first rounders during that 2006 season
yeah i usually just eat dinner during the week.
it does help.
I tend to be a snacked and nervous eater.
so just limiting how much I have around helps.

re: GOT - Three Eyed Raven

the real question is, the farther out we go do you shift more blame to GRRM than D&D?
Yes they rushed it and fricked up, but they were absolutely amazing at adapting the books u til there were no books.
also GRRM is going to put out 2 books that are essentially long enough for 6 more seasons. ...

every pick has the same risk, but Daniels has all the tools and attributes a QB needs for success. ...

re: Are we fooling ourselves with the "trade BI" soft rebuild talk?
Posted by SammyTiger on 4/26/24 at 4:08 am
I don’t see moving BI as a soft rebuild as much as a retool.
It’s mostly that he doesn’t work with Zion as well.
alternatively you change coaches and hire a guy predicated on how well they pitch a BI -Zion based offense. ...
