Kelvin DeBoer is locked in with Alabama.

Agree. LSU gives that feeling that they go "all in" for 1 candidate and when they don't get that candidate, it's an OH shite moment and they panic hire and then say "We got our man!"
As in "all in for Lincoln Riley" and then pivot to "it was Brian Kelly all along"?
I think that is a pretty accurate take on the LSU situation.
Who's hired first?

Which of the P4 programs is the first to fill their vacancy, and which one of the fired coaches gets hired first?
My guess is PSU makes the first move and snags a coach from a non-playoff SEC school and their former head man James Franklin gets hired soon after.

Already signed. $100 million PER YEAR, lifetime contract. But keep it on the down low for another couple of weeks....

All those coaches besides saban didn’t do shite on their 2nd stint
Does that include the coach with the most wins in the history of South Carolina football?

Wrong.

Nope. Lane and Kirby. Done deal!

Lane as OC and Kirby as DC. Time to get the band back together! $50M for Saban, $40M each for Lane and Kirby. PER YEAR! $10M bonus for every win over 6. It’s gonna be glorious!!!

He was as 5-10% two days ago. What do the betting markets know that we don’t?
Tell me you don't understand odds-making without telling me you don't understand odds-making.
It will be Tommy Tuberville. He just has to officially withdraw from the Alabama governor's race and endorse someone else. Be patient, grasshoppers.

Why is the OP comparing two black coaches that have nothing in common outside of the fact that they are black?
Irony at its best. You listed TWO things they have in common in your rebuttal. You are excused.
re: AU - next HC has already won multiple Natties. Got the word.

Bird is the word.
This would be good for him. Get them bowl eligible by year two, 8-9 wins by year four and he’s set up for the next level.
Orgeron. Done deal.

…to replace Freeze? Maybe.

Demon Sanders played football and baseball at the same time. Tubs could be the first head coach/governor in history.
You’re forgetting about the Louisiana governor/AD/HC of LSU.

Dan Lanning turned down Alabama.
He was never offered. DeBoer was Greg Byrne's number 1. He immediately got on a flight to Seattle the same day Saban retired. Lanning may have been #2 if DeBoer turned it down, but he was never offered the job.
First was a courtesy call to Sark to confirm he wasn't interested in being considered, but no offer made. He declined consideration. Lanning would have been first up if DeBoer said no or didn't pan out in the meeting with the AD.

He knows that a win against Alabama is all that can save his job. Plus it will mean auburn gets to claim another Natty.
You think he'll still be the HC then???

Orgeron and Jimbo both appear to be ready to jump back into coaching.
Arkansas or Kentucky would be good spots for either of them. Dan Mullen would fit as well.
