I don't have a clue what they are thinking, or what the new staff has told them about their future here....

However, I feel most of them have far more talent and worth than has been pulled out of them thus far. I'm not saying they will suddenly be superstars, but I think coaching and blocking scheme/offensive plan have made them look worse than they are.

the entire line has looked incredibly soft for years now... INCLUDING WILL CAMPBELL..... is each man really that soft, or was it just coaching.... I think coaching is the biggest part of it.

penalties. PI should not be called on a non-catchable ball.

Why was the ball uncatchable?
Because the D-Back cut off the route and kept the receiver from proceeding up field.
Perhaps it should have been holding rather than PI, but it was absolutely a penalty.

The O-line Sucked this year for sure... but I don't think it is all about talent.

I think some of these guys could be good with decent coaching.

Agreed

Agreed, but the schedule is brutal so it may not show up in the win column

Agreed. I believe they will actually be less talented than 2025, man for man, but they will be much better coached, and Lane will have them playing to their strengths.
They could still lose 5 games, but they will be competitive and not look lost

I agree…

My personal belief is that 2026 LSU will be less talented that 2025, but will still be more competitive!

I’m not saying national championship, but they will be more competitive… that’s my feeling at least.
The penalties killed the defense and that can be on coaching, fine…

But, you can’t keep giving them the ball over and over….

They will be better in 26, than 25.
I’m not saying LSU is winning it all next year, but they will be more competitive.

Officiating is bad…. Yes…. But LSU should be able to line up and blow Houston off the ball. There is no reason LSU should give up 21 unanswered to Houston.

LSU offense is GARBAGE

obviously a better fit than have it my way BK. But what are his strengths on the field that will bring us an SEC championship, beat Bama, and get us in the playoffs every year? We all know he develops QB's and can recruit, but beyond that, X's and O's, where will he elevate our team?

so he is a good coach.. he recruits well, does a good job with QBs...

So, THE QUESTION IS, BEYOND BEING A GOOD COACH, HOW IS HE GONNA BE A GOOD COACH?...

Do you even listen to yourself?

I don't know if he will do well or win championships, but your take is idiotic.
My favorite college teams ranked in order are:

1. LSU
2. Whoever is playing Bama
3. Whoever is playing Tx A&M.

So yes I’m cheering for the U.
2011,
The game of the century quite literally changed College football.

Who knows, but Les had just cranked out two great seasons.. Would've been hard to fire Les then. FTR, after the GOTC Les held a 3-2 head-to-head advantage over Nick but would never win again. It wasn't that Nick was at Bama, it's what Les became here. The fallout resulting from Perrilloux is what did Les in, not Nick.

This is true.

The GOTC is still my favorite game ever played.

However, the difference between Les and Saban is clear. After the GOTC, Saban realized he HAD to make offensive changes. Les never came to that same realization.
frick off...

the students should get student tickets with how much tuition costs!.

So he's making a business decision since LSU said they'd pay him CFP bonus money from an Ole Miss win..

Exactly!

What the frick?
….Just wow…
This Gold star needs “bless your heart” stamped across it.

wonder if Alabama ever recovers as a program. I feel like Ole Miss and Alabama are equal tier wise. Not either are their state flag ship schools and they are not as talent rich as LSU. Without Saban, Alabama is just another middle of the pack sec school.

I love to see Bama getting torn apart.

But Dude…. Ol’ miss is the same as Bama?
That’s just dumb

I feel the same way.

Look at the last couple years. Campbell was very talented, but his run blocking was mediocre.

The line has been SOFT for years.

We’ve got some big bodies out there, I don’t believe they are so talentless that they can’t compete. They are soft as charmin. The right coach can correct that.
