The odds went from 0% to maybe 20%.

I can hear the heisman comeback story now. Tua returns from injury to lead the tide to a national championship in his senior season

Would be a bad decision to come back and risk injury again
I would go and start the NFL clock and get paid
Even if you have to take a NFL redshirt it makes sense

Why would Tua come back and risk further injury? Bo had a similar injury and was never the same. Tua needs to get that first round paycheck while he can.

Yeah he gone.

He doesn't need to risk further injury and he'll still be a top 20 pick if the rehab goes as planned.

Tua will most likely be drafted in the mid to late 1st round to a team with an aging veteran. He will get to sit for a year or so, getting healthy and learning the playbook.

Steelers, Chargers, Saints, or Pats.

Because that was 30 years ago and Bo continued playing after the initial injury had occurred, causing the damage that ended his career.

For selfish reasons I would love to see him back. Honestly his best choice would be to leave and get the money.

I doubt he will be football ready by August.

I heard that surgery went better than expected and he will be back in Tuscaloosa on Wed or Thur to start rehab!

The key factor in this great prognosis is the time it took to get the hip reduced. They say it is important to get reduced within 6 hours, Tua's was reduced within 3 minutes after he entered the locker room. I guess that explains the screaming everyone heard.

What will he do now, anyone's guess. All I know is he plans to be at the game Saturday!

Why come back?

He can still be a late first. He will definitely be back to playing by pre season so why not go?

Teams picking late in the draft who could put him behind their established older QB could take a chance.

Hell Lamar Jackson was picked up late and it worked out for the ravens

Taulia isnt the family meal ticket off Spam, Tua is.

Tua may have lost tens of millions last Saturday, but he still will not fall that far, he is too dynamic, quick release, accurate, and there are too many desperate teams with bad QBs.

The possibility of Russel Wilson 2.0 will find a buyer.

That's great news all around. I hope he only slips to the lower first-round where my Saints can pick him up. As in pick number 32.

He has little to gain by coming back unless he were to slip way down, like third round or further. Then he would to prove he could stay healthy.

Other than that, Godspeed to you Tua and I wish you much success in the future

In 2015 when LSU had a generational talent, the narrative was the NFL should make an exception and let him leave after his sophomore year so he doesn't have to risk further injury.

In 2019 when Alabama has an above-average talent, the narrative is he should come back for his senor season despite further injury risk so that he can have one last chance at leading Alabama to a title from start to finish.

Tua should not take another snap in college. Time for the NFL. He still has a good chance of getting an 8 figure contract next year.
