“It’s not something I’ve thought about,” Mullen said Tuesday, per the Orlando Sentinel. “If it’s something as opportunities present themselves — like everything in the world — you take things as they come and you visit them and you reflect at where you are in your life. Very much like we have a lot of players that are deciding to move onto the NFL.

“With those guys it’s, ‘Hey, make sure you make great decisions, reflect upon what’s best for you and your life and your situation and where you’re at. You make a decision that’s best for you and your family in everything.’”

It would make sense for him - many coaches that actually "coach" are not a fan of recruiting, and having to kiss the arse of elite athletes

Mullen is a goofy guy. I could see players not liking him, but I can also seeing him becoming a player’s coach like Pete Carroll is for the Seahawks.

I don’t think NFL players would want his wife kissing them, though.

Funny thing is there’s reports of Fleck getting interest from at least one NFL team.

I’m just picturing how the “Row the boat” theme is going to work in the pros

I hear his wife is all about it.

She's ready to be a NFL side piece.

Maybe NFL wives are cool with the head coach’s wife kissing their men. Stop being so closed minded.

If the FALCONS do this....

Probably hasn't gotten any calls from NFL and he's just making sure they know he's available... so he can leverage a raise for UF. Don't think he's a good fit for the NFL.

Mullen isn't going anywhere for a while. He pulled this at State for years. He'd talk out of both sides of his mouth. He's not leaving.

You mean their wives/girlfriends. Players looking to smash and many would given the chance.

When did Tennerrsee fans start siding with gayturs? When exactly was the last time you all beat the gayturs? In intra-conference play I always pull against other teams, not for a particular team, other than my own. I have always pulled against the gayturs when they play you people and it has been so long since you have beaten them I have just quit watching that game.

How Dan Mullen helped tweak the Patriots offense to make it more explosive

The Patriots and QB Tom Brady embarked on one of the most dominant stretches in NFL history, something Mullen said he’s enjoyed watching — especially since he played a part in the team’s offensive progression.

You play them with your 4th string QB and held your defensive starters hurt and let's see how well you hang.

I’ll never say Mullen is a bad coach, he’s clearly not, but he is 1-3 against Kirby. Florida could hire someone quite a bit better or a lot worse.
