3rd grade test scores are also up too. Really the big hold back grade now is 1st. In our elementary school we have a boatload of kids that are being held back this year because they haven't shown the commiserate level to be promoted.

Why lower expectations when these studios are throwing stupid money at trying to find the next big thing? Animated would give them more of a chance to make a decent adaptation. Live action severely limits what you can do in terms of faithfulness to the source material which is what is most folks find important.

It has always been aggravating when an elite prospect leaves to go to Florida or Georgia. Cam Akers and Nakobe Dean immediately come to mind.
