He would get eaten up by his own players in the NFL. Would only take a half a season before they'd have to start looking for a replacement.

Mullen isn't going anywhere for a while. He pulled this at State for years. He'd talk out of both sides of his mouth. He's not leaving.

Pretty sure I've heard that he turned a lot of ppl off after being considered for other jobs, as well.

It'd be horrible for Florida if he leaves... Auburn already snapped up the hottest coaching candidate out there.

Its not like Mullen was the best they could have done, nor the hire before him.

Needs to work on developing a better passing game... But he is smart and adaptive. I could see him succeeding and making it to first round playoffs with a decent team but I don't vision him winning a superbowl

Dawg fans and kirby are sitting at church right now praying this happens. He just kindve closed the talent gap and beat yall like a rented mule.

Meh. Long as Vols keep Beldar Cornbread we’re good. And since y’all are still paying coaches all the way back to Kneeland, I see him staying.

My fellow dawg fans will have a fit but this is a valid point......until Kirby does something of import with his talented recruits a recruiter is all he is. The league is a QB league......Kirby has not shown an ability to develop a QB and has instead anecdotally shown to allow QBs to regress.......

Like somebody else we know.

Maybe he can go have a losing record for a few years and stab some NFL legend’s son in the fricking back and get another SEC gig.
