Florida fans, why are you going through coaches faster than some people trade cars?

Since Urban flamed out there have been four coaches and you have run all of them off because they have been unsucessful. Why have they all had trouble turning the program around??
I don't understand trying to stiff the coach they hired, with both parties agreeing to and signing the contract. If it is a bad contract for the school, they have no one to blame but themselves.

Of course with this much money involved it is no longer about right and wrong but what you can get away with, having the court's blessing.
All you can play are the teams on your schedule for that year. You have no control over how they perform in other games.

FWIW, I think A&M has looked quite impressive this year, from what I have seen of them.
Any coach going to Florida has to find answers as to why the four previous coaches have met an untimely dismissal at Florida. They did not all of a sudden not know how to run a program, how to put together a staff or how to coach D-1 football.
I don't have a dog in the fight but if the university is not going to honor the contract they wrote and signed, why even have a contract?

Honor the contract!!
I know McAfee has supposedly brought in a younger audience and all of that. .
He has made it unbearable for me. He is just a big bore when he goes to acting up like an 8th grade boy that is showing off.

I switched fron Youtube to Hulu several weeks ago because Youtube did not carry some chick channels my wife likes to watch.

I don't know if any of this Disney fuss will affect Hulu or not.
I am trying to figure out what laundry has to do with any anything.

Come to find out he is talking about Landry, the governor. :banghead:
I am going on just hunches and not anything else. Kelly struck me as a guy that pissed people off everywhere he went.

Perhaps lack of leadership skills. Some guys try to make up for that with a rotten personality.

Texas’ problem is the boosters want to run the show, not the head coach

I have heard that. That was always a problem at Florida, in the past. I don't know if they have gotten past it or not. Auburn may be the program with the most booster interference in the SEC right now.

It is hard to say how good is Ohio St with that schedule.

The Texas win doesn't carry a lot of weight these days. Texas turned out to be rather mediocre. Ky and Miss St took them to OT.

I am thinking Indiana may be the best of the bunch.
If you look at the history of Florida, Spurrier and Meyer were very successful there. Not many other coaches have done a lot while having that job.

They have now gone through four coaches since Meyer closed out his Florida career. Did these four coaches all of a sudden forget how to coach football? Florida has always had talent. Lack of talent is not the issue. Back in the olden days there was a lot of meddling by boosters, think of Auburn now.

Florida fans tell us what you think the issue is concerning the Florida coaching job.

re: Who you got? Vandy or LSU

I was shocked Vanderbilt came out favored in this game. I can't imagine LSU losing to Vanderbilt, I don't care where it is played.
If you look at the Nielsen ratings your comment would appear not to be true.

The first game of the year against Ohio St had the highest Nielsen to date.

Surprising that the Texas/Fla game outdrew Kentucky/Georgia but by a small amount.

I love it. His name gets mentioned as a replacement for Franklin and he gets a new contract probably without him or his agent asking for it.
I have lived in both Ala and Tenn at different times of my life.

I like east Tenn but you would not believe the number of people from California and the north that have flocked into Tenn the last number of years.

It has driven up the price of housing for sure. I am uncertain about their voting habits.

I find it odd that for years and years people outside the South ran down the South for every thing they could think of and now it seems like they all want to live here. Go figure!
Kiffen's jab is hilarious. Guys that are friends razz each other.

Women on the other hand can't begin to handle stuff like that.

re: Freeze will be fired soon

If a large number of jobs come open it will cause a pay raise throughout college football, for those coaches being courted and not planning on leaving for another job. The sports agents will all bask in the sunshine.

If Auburn were to run Freeze off, how many coaches will they be paying next year?? Are they still paying Malzhan, Harsin and another one I can't recall his name?
UNC is the unclaimed jewel by both the SEC and big ten. Both conferences want them for the TV exposure. North Carolina is like #10 or so in population and it is growing.

UNC supposedly is a better TV draw than NC State. I am not that familiar with either one. I know several NC State alumni and they are great folks. UNC people, that I have known, carried around a big dose of arrogance, kind of like Ga Teck people.
Dude, you are really overthinking this Missouri thing. What people want or wish is not relevant. None of those people are suiting up on Saturday.

I would think Missouri would be amped up for this game because of the way they got the snot beat out of them last year.

I don't have a Dawg in this fight. May the best team win!!
