re: Fire Tom Crean - bunkerhill
It is pretty safe to say this team has quit on him. This team, outside one guy, is very limited on talent, imo....

re: Mel Tucker to Michigan State - bunkerhill
The SEC and Big ten are operating at a different financial level than is the PAC. Michigan St showed with a big checkbook, easy decision for Tucker. He has to recruit his butt off to get Mich St competitive with the big ten east. PAC has had two head coaches pack up and go to other schools in the...

re: Will Muschamp’s son now a walk on QB at Georgia for 2020 - bunkerhill
Good move on everyone's part. Muschamp and family are all Georgia people. Good for the kid. Better than going a long way from home and Will can afford the out of state tuition....

re: Terry Fair passes away - bunkerhill
I remember him well. That final four year was remarkable. I believe they beat Syracuse in the tournament that year. UNC was another team they beat in the tournament. In the semi-final against NC State, Georgia went cold and could not throw it in the ocean for a long stretch, but still played them...

re: Northwest Arkansas population (Washington County and Benton County only) - bunkerhill
A sibling lives in Washington county. I have visited several times and like that area a lot. It does concern me and a lot of other people that Californians are moving into the South like crazy. Don't blame them for leaving California but don't bring your liberal politics with you. California, NY...

re: Chuck Oliver v Paul Finebaum - bunkerhill
When I lived in Metro ATL I listened to them. I believe it was Chuck Oliver that said " now way is Matthew Stafford going to sign with Georgia." That was right before signing day, whatever year that was. I liked Buck ok, Kincaid is so Philadelphia-centric and sanctimonious I can hardly stand to l...

re: OT: the Loss of a True American Patriot - bunkerhill
Slow hand salute to your uncle. I can say he saw enough action to last a lifetime and then some. I am an old geezer that is a Vietnam veteran, I was also exposed to Agent Orange. I had cancer surgery a few years back, so far so good. Veterans from that place and time have a particular brotherhood...

re: Mizzou fans are y'all glad you made the switch to the SEC? - bunkerhill
We had an offer from the Big 10, but it was “Junior membership.” Junior membership is why we left the Big 12.
What exactly is a Junior Membership? I remember the big ten passed on you and took Nebraska. They have since gone in the tank and football wise I would say that Missouri ...

re: An old but awesome feel good story from one of LSU's greatest alumni - bunkerhill
I remember talking to someone a few years back that had had some kind of interaction with Shaq in a small Georgia town. Don't remember the details but he did say that Shaq was one of the nicest people he had had the pleasure of meeting....

re: LSU WR coach turns down coordinator role at Nebraska - bunkerhill
Who the hell would anyone want to go to Nebraska?
You are right on that. The sports media thinks there is going to be a great resurrection of the days of old, most any year now. I don't see it happening. Frost probably sees it also. Dude could have had a pick of jobs when he lef...

re: Monken To Uga - bunkerhill
Barners throwing cold water on the hire. Why? It may be a good hire or it may be a bad hire, right now no one knows. I don't know anything about the guy. I do like the idea of hiring guys with NFL experience and guys that have been coaching at various colleges. Every year is a building block of k...

re: Does anyone think Ohio State would've given LSU a better NC game? - bunkerhill
Ohio State's defense would have given up a lot of points to this LSU offense. Their running back, Dobbins, is not as good as Etienne, imo. Fields has been hampered by a bad ankle. I don't think Ohio State's D line is as good as Clemson's D line. I think LSU would have won by about 3 tds....

re: SEC Dominance - bunkerhill
Reading an Ohio State board recently and of course they would have beaten LSU had they played. Ohio State has won every hypothetical game, that was never played. Congrats Tigers on your championship!...

re: Sec officials may suck but they are the best in the business, - bunkerhill
I have been a fan and followed college football for decades. Pass interference is still the most subjective thing in football, imo. There were some flagrant pass interference plays that were called last night but some were not and I thought they were just as bad. The offensive pass interference call...

re: Georgia, that was a win in name only! - bunkerhill
I know we like to give each other the business but seriously, that was a good win for UGA. It is obvious to me that Fromm's problem is not him but lack of receivers that can get open.
It has been a problem all year. As a whole, the poorest group of receivers I have seen at Ga in so...

re: Kirby Smart: “There’s a disease at Georgia…” - bunkerhill
Every program that recruits high profile kids has this problem, not new. But, you can't win without talent and good talent at that. I was impressed that Kirby had his guys ready to play last night. Last year at the Sugar Bowl was an absolute embarrassment for the program. I wonder if Kirby did no...

re: At least 13 Georgia players to miss Sugar Bowl - bunkerhill
If the Georgia players are not going to take these bowl games with any seriousness I kind of wish the would bow out completely. The problem with this is you miss the extra practice time for the young guys that goes with a bowl bid. Let me say right now I will be shocked if Georgia keeps this game c...

re: Wish we’d picked Texas to join the SEC - bunkerhill
From everything I have read or heard about their campus culture a school like Texas would fit better in the PAC. The PAC is a collection of weirdos, wackos and culture warriors. Don't ever want to see Texas in the SEC....
