Nobody cares about all the wins you guys amassed last century.

In the 2000s, OU has had your number. They lead 17-9 over the last 26. That’s almost 2/3 over that time period.

Your analysis is faulty.

Mack Brown is gone. Sark while not perfect has a lot more killer instinct in him. And it's not like OU under Venables has been this consistent juggernaut.

Texas is #1 by default because they are the only team that warrants it based on body of work. Like you, I'm skeptical they are actually the best team in the nation. We will all find out.

Gonna be a tough road for the Sooners, but it is a big rivalry after all.

Nah. I prefer Texas to completely demoralize them for the rest of the season. Make their asses quit.

Not good? Texas may not be Elite but Texas is a good team I think even the haters on here would agree.

Plus are you a OSU fan lol, if Texas isnt good what does that say about your team?

Man, I would love to see Oklahoma bring Texas down to reality, but I want that to happen in Death Valley

Texas hasnt been blow out in this game for over 2 decades and has won 3 of the last 4 where OU hasnt scored a touchdown. It would be 5 of 5 if Sark kept a lead and scored from the 1 yard line (give credit to OU).

But saying Texas "shits down their leg" is such a terribly uneducated comment.

No Burnt Vegetables came out and said he's still the starter but he will probably be on a short leash as a guess.

Pretty sure BV is cursed after the 2022 game when he lost 0-49 and let 6 QBs throw passes that day for a total of 39 yards but left General Booty on the bench.... That was a traveshamockery

I watched some Washington State Mateer videos back when it was announced he was coming to OU. He looked very good. What the hell happened to him? I mean they brought his OC with him.

Arbuckle actually had a great gameplan vs GA. But he has a horrible QB. And to make it worse, he didn’t give backup any snaps vs GA. All he had to do is give him 2 series in a lost game. Which coulda come in handy to give him snaps vs a great team and see how he handled it. If Mateer stinks up the show this Sat it will be hard to bring in the backup without some type of playing time. I think Arbuckle was afraid if backup did better it would make him look bad, so stuck with Mateer. We will live or die with Mateer Sat.

OU has no running game, which makes it much easier to stop the OU offense.

4 DL rush
1 spy (Biles)
6 guys in coverage

It all starts with the running game and they don’t have one.

Texas is pretty overrated because their offense is not good, at all. But their defense will give them a chance to win every game.

Oklahoma could definitely win. Venables will have a good defensive gameplan and I don't see Texas scoring a ton of points.

The real question is can Mateer and the OU offense not suck for one game against a really good Texas defense.

You are cherry-picking numbers in a strange way. The last 20 years are even. We are about to destroy them for the 4th time in 5 years. We will have a 15 game lead in the series.
