There isn't any need to resort to low blows, we can just compare the records of the respective teams and that ends the trash talking session. I do this IRL all the time.

Dude the Horns clowned on y'all this year and now you are sucking up to the Ags. Sad!

Brand new to the forum. I decided to post here because while Surley is entertaining, this forum is a bit more wholesome.

Texas fans are famous for this actually, so you aren't hallucinating.

My best friend is an aggie grad. What more needs to be said?
Many such cases.
1. OU has one of the best football programs in history.
2. Arkansas is the most beautiful state in the country.
3. The Aggies provide an incredible service to the state in the form of their Agrilife Extension.
Ags look really good this year. I was a believer in their team well before most of the Ags I know.
Marcel+Receivers are electric, and Arch is playing some incredible hero-ball.
I think this one comes down to which defense can stiffen up a bit. Either A&M rattles Arch and wins, or Texas channels their earlier-season self contains A&M to something reasonable like 30 points to win it.
Either way, good luck in the post-season Ags.

Welcome to our lives. At least you only have to hear this silliness 1 week out of the year.
The inferiority complex is sad. Aggies have a lot to be proud of without resorting to the pettiness.

Here I thought SEC schools cared about traditions and history.
Texas used to go by "Texas University" as their common name similar to OU and many others even though the official name is the University of Texas. It's most common slang is in the Aggie War Hymn that refers to "Goodbye to Texas University" and "Saw Varsity's Horns off" because Texas originally had "Varsity" as their name as well.
The War Hymn was written in 1918 by Pinky Wilson while he was in a trench in France fighting the Germans in WWI. He knew it as "Texas University" and "Varsity" before they decided to change their names.
We just like reminding our younger and smaller sibling of their history.
It's just passive aggressive behavior is all.
I'm just glad Pinky saved us all from speaking German though. Thx Ags! :usa:
No, there will still be blue bloods. It will be less based on history and more on money.
This benefits wealthier schools/states like Texas (UT, A&M, TTU), while some former blue bloods will struggle to compete as the years without those resources grind on.

Ohh hell don't get me started on tea.

The South is just better. The people are more pleasant and funny, the food is more tasty, and even the humid summers are preferable to being snowed in.
I have some yankees living on my street and man, they are OK folks, but I think everyone from up north is on the spectrum or something.
