the democrats are at war.
No. They’re facing an existential crisis. They’re more like a wounded animal backed into a corner.
They’ve backed the wrong side and issue over and over and over. The only reason they are a viable party is because the media carries water for them.

I don’t get the Skyfall praise. Casino Royale is fantastic so I’m not just hating on Daniel Craig. The Skyfall plot is pretty dumb, some domestic homo with a grudge against M, let them capture me, they’re going to plug my computer directly into the MI6 mainframe, yeah sure, the Home Alone house. The Skyfall theme is one of the best ever so at least it has that.
This x 1000000
So overrated. It’s a mish mash of plagiarism. Even the cinematography rips off Inception and The Dark Knight.

Salt Lake was way way better. Coverage was better. Venues were better. US won ALOT more medals.

They make up 18% of the country's population, they should get 18% of the voting impact in a federal election.
You need to read up on your history. The EC was imposed by the other 12 colonies to do exactly what you’re complaining about: reduce the electoral power of New York City so that a presidential candidate has to appeal to each state, not just one city.
2016 popular vote: Hillary Clinton’s margin was created by significant majorities in three counties: Los Angeles, Cook, and New York. Remove those three localities and Trump wins the popular vote by 200k. Allowing the popular vote to determine the winner in that case would invalidate the will of the majority of voters in all but 3 counties in the country, thus creating an oligarchy where three large population centers determine the outcome of a national election.

They could easily rule a law mandating voter ID in a Presidential election Constitutional. I think ID requirements for all remaining offices would be determined by the states.

There’s no use in arguing with this level of brainwashing. The best thing to do is laugh in their faces when they bring it up and walk away.

Looking back through US history at almost every event that constituted the passage of landmark legislation, i.e. bills that had significant national implications and future impact, I noticed one common truth: The amendment, bill, or law was created and pushed by Progressive Democrats.
Pretty sure the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 22nd amendments were promoted by Republicans.

The Democrat Party is dying. It needs immigrants to sustain itself. It’s becoming obvious that they need “extra time” to count ballots to overcome vote deficits from Election Day.
They’re having to move at light speed when they’re in power because they know their policies are unpopular and the only way to push them through is via taking advantage of politicians cal capital til it runs out.

Have you looked at Belize? Several great ruin sites there (Xunantunich is unreal and worth the drive). Great beaches and snorkeling. You could probably find a really nice AirBNB/Vrbo property.
They speak English there, too.
I also love Puerto Vallarta this time of year. Tons of great resorts on the Nayarit side of the bay (north). Hyatt has a Ziva all inclusive south of the old town (Zona Romantica). Day trip to Yelapa to get away from the crowds; it’s only accessible by boat.
Cabo is a great option, too. The resorts there all have great pool areas because you can’t really swim in the ocean water.
