Businesses are sitting around saying, “Well, Louisiana has the workforce and tax breaks we need to invest there, but, dammit, they teach that darned creationism in their schools.”

They don’t understand the basis of the decision it was about the language on the ballot and the fact that Democrats ignored how these types of elections are supposed to proceed via the VA Constitution.
And they don’t care.

She’s also cheering because the death of Spirit makes it harder for people to afford air travel.

Even if early voting had started, wouldn’t all of those people get to vote again on the new election date especially if their district has changed?

This is the crux of the issue, IMO. They want to build a mosque and an Islamic school. Their intention here is to create a Muslim enclave from scratch.
I don’t understand why a judge can’t just tell them to remove the mosque and private school and later demonstrate that they are selling homes to people of all religions and races.

How does a Travis County judge have jurisdiction over a project in Collin County?
District courts are the primary court for all disputes, criminal or civil. They clearly judge shopped here.

They literally stop at the same places in the Western Caribbean. In fact, Carnival’s port in Cozumel and Mahogany Bay are much much better.

The issue isn’t the map. It’s the ballot language. They really screwed up there.
You can always trust Democrats to overestimate their political capital.

Ok. Now tell Latin Americans that they can no longer drive cars, build interstates, have washing machines, dishwashers and televisions, sneakers, suits, parliaments, popular voting, freedom of speech and religion, blue jeans, Coca-Cola, ice cream, and hamburgers.

She has been rather vocal about her change in perspective. She recognizes that alienating half of Americans is going to tank the movie industry.
