A 2018 Dallas News article reported 338 Islamic mosques and centers in Texas.

Ok. So?

Most of those are in heavily populated urban centers where their voices are muted by the interests of other larger groups.

Now do the same study for English language churches converting to Spanish speaking in Texas.

Not saying we shouldn’t keep an eye on Muslim groups but this is like the 5th thread I’ve seen in this in the last couple of days. Calm the F down.

I’ll be more interested to see what happens to these mosques in the next two decades when they have children saturated with the pluralistic culture surrounding them. What happens when their daughters go to public schools, see the freedoms other girls have and discover they’ve been lied to by their religion? US History shows that they’re more likely to melt into the pot in some significant way that mutes their fundamentalism.

And Vietnamese. And Korean. And Chinese. And every variety of Hispanic. The Muslim population is tiny compared to all the other enclaves. Most mosques are next door or across the street from a church or temple.

Sharia law is banned in Texas. The whole EPIC thing is being investigated 8 ways to Sunday for all kinds of fraud and civil rights violations. It’s kind of blown out of proportion by news coverage.

Texans are fine with Muslims as long as they don’t interfere with everyone else’s ability to live how they want.
Weird. I prefer UPS to other services. They’ve always been fine with me. Hate hearing how bad things are on the inside.

FedEx Office locations are always slow and the employees never seem happy to be there. Maybe that’s just Dallas. Idk.

I loathe USPS. They’re just terrible.
It’s petty, but it’ll just reveal how much of the crap they sell is made in China.
I liked these episodes for foundation laying for the rest of the season.

Thought the whole “undocumented” bs was way too obvious but the actors executed it well so it did t take me out too much.

Genevieve O’Reilly is the standout so far. These first three episodes were hers. So cool to learn about another system and their culture without it being ridiculous exposition.

Definitely want more Krennick.

It’s great if you can stomach its pedophilic overtones.

Emma Stone’s character has sex with a man in front of his two elementary aged sons.

The fact that Hollywood lauded this film with awards just further demonstrates how bankrupt it is morally.

Insider trading?
Campaign finance fraud?
Blackmail?
Paying for prostitution?

Pocketing taxpayer money or campaign donations and using them to spend on a lavish lifestyle, no matter what it is, is a felony.

Pretty sure these are worse than what Santos did.
Mine is back to less than $1k down from its high, but that’s a normal fluctuation.
BSG has two that are better (and I love ST2):

Weaponized anonymous reporting needs to be done away with.

At my Company, you are told the exact instance and behavior of a complaint even if they can’t reveal who said it. If it’s a 1:1 accusation, there is no assumption of privacy or anonymity. I’ve seen way too many leaders abuse anonymous complaints to get rid of or harass employees they don’t like.
This guy is weird AF, but…

Seriously? That’s child’s play in comparison to what goes on in DC. The rest of Congress clutched their pearls and did everything they could to oust this guy from the get-go. The way the DC establishment snobs looked down their noses at him was bizarre; they targeted him before he even stepped in the Beltway. Such hypocrites.

If the voters don’t choose who they want, they’ll find a way… (See: Madison Cawthorn)

You might want to ask Anheuser-Busch how losing their consumer base worked out for them.

Michael is the worst. He didn’t have to kill to get what he wanted. They never told him to kill anyone.

Also hate that big dumb dolt Other who kidnapped Walt.

Juliet has always been my fave. Love her.
“My/The Precious” for any possession someone is ridiculously attached to.

“Wingman” from Top Gun

My aunt and uncle go through there a lot. They complain about this constantly.

Congrats! More people need to hear what you went through to become a citizen. We really look at making the process cheaper and easier.

That being said:

People who skip the line must really piss you off.
