That is what they will be in the NIL era. Their fans won't admit it but their state is too poor and most of the big money donors from the state are Auburn fans.

Gee Alabama fans are saucy these days. Is it because LSU finally has the better head coach? That LSU has more money and is doing better recruiting and in the portal? Because you're stuck with DeBoer? A combination of those?

It isn't hate. He became the Alabama HC and all of a sudden was a top 5 coach? Give me a break. He had one very successful season as a P5 HC with the playoff run. So did Sonny Dykes....
Don't believe me? Look at coaching rankings from 2023 versus 2024 and you'll see him shoot up because he became Bama's HC.
I'll tell you one thing. I would be very concerned as a Bama fan knowing they have worse championship odds in DeBoer's third year than they did in year 1 and year 2 under DeBoer.

I am curious to what is going on. Bama fans say they are taking a small class due to having a young team. That is all well and fine, but if that is the case why are you taking a small class of majority 3 stars? Why not take a small class of 4-5 stars?

This is a fair ranking although there is absolutely no reason for Texas Tech to be above us. There are probably only 5-6 teams who would be favored over us on a neutral field and those don't include Bama or Ole Miss
