It would be something. It’s not gonna happen, but most are hoping the Okies win

Texas is not good.

OU could easily win that game.

I don't think Texas is all that great, but Oklahoma is not winning. Not with Mateer at QB.

I guess if the MIZ can beat FL..... then why can't OU beat the Longhorns.

Texas has a tendency to shite down their legs during this game. Anything can happen, but OU sucks and I expect them to lose.

True rivalry game. As cliche as it sounds, records don't matter. Ou has benefit of playing spoiler. Utx has the pressure disadvantage.

OU may well get smoked, but they could absolutely win this game and honestly, that shouldn't be a big knock on UTx for this game alone.

I don't think they have played like the best team in the country. But, they'll survive an OU loss. Their margin or error just gets more narrow going forward.

For me, WR1, Cam Coleman, has been the biggest disappointment to date.

Let that marinate for a bit. He's waiting to make a one handed high light real catch, and dropping the ones that hit both hands.

When he gets back to average, Texas will look much better.

If he gets back to the top WR in the portal, look out.

If he doesn't, there's a more dynamic and explosive player waiting behind him.

It would have to be a low-scoring defensive struggle IMO for OU to win. If Texas can score 21 on offense, I don't see OU being able to keep up.

Vamos a ver, pibe.

Are you sure about that?
"Over the last 30 seasons (1996–2025) of the Red River Rivalry, underdogs of 7.5 points or more have played 9 times.

Performance of Underdogs Spread +7.5 or Greater in Texas vs. OU:
- Against the Spread (ATS Covers): 8 out of 9 times (88.9%)
- Straight Up Wins (SU Upsets): 3 out of 9 times (33.3%)"

Losing 1/3 of the time as a TD+ favorite sounds like it fits.

It would do my heart good to see UT lose every game from now until the end of time.

Why?

Cause they are bigger figs than Aggies

OU won't have a chance as long as Mateer has two working thumbs.

Texas had a double-digit lead in this series, and has humiliated OU in 3 of the last 4 games, but other than that, your analysis is incredible.

I’d be happy with a touchdown in the first half, then maybe we can see about an upset if game is within reach at said point.
