Jokes aside, I think Sarkisian's redemption arc is one of the things I like best about him. He's a very flawed human and he has been very frank about a very dark time in his life. Here's to you staying sober, one day at a time, Coach.

Quit trolling. Texas A&M at LSU is the night game on ABC. That's a marquee match up as well and A&M/LSU is a rivalry game with Kiffin Mania to boot.

The battle of UTs while interesting because of the conference implications is nowhere as sexy.

I like the Chad Powers show on Hulu. It's not exactly fine art, but I find it amusing.

Michigan/OU and Ohio State/Texas this Saturday should make you happy.

Fun fact: Jeff Banks was the interim head football coach at Texas A&M after they fired Kevin Sumlin. He then moved onto Saban's staff at Alabama which is where his connection with Sark started.

Am I missing something? Hutson is ineligible by Sarkisian's own words.

"Technically today he is ineligible, not because of the ruling, because of something different when it comes to the NCAA that he's working through," Sarkisian said Monday. "But as I said before, we are respecting the SEC's decision and once he can get cleared and if he gets cleared from the NCAA, then we'll go back to the SEC and what does that look like?"

Sarkisian said he believes Hutson's case is different from the debate about NFL players returning to college because he essentially was in two tryouts but never signed a professional contract.

"He falls under a little different caveat," Sarkisian said. "We'll leave it up to the NCAA and then we'll leave it up to the SEC to determine if he's eligible to play for us or not."

Voting out members is not how a breakaway would happen. It's more likely SEC members would simply leave the conference to join some new alliance/arrangement as there is no SEC exit fee. Obviously just my layman opinion.

The meeting is "decide whether to terminate Louisiana State University ('LSU') as an SEC member institution". This doesn't have to mean an actual vote must be called, correct? It could just be more discussions on what LSU "did" and what steps could occur next. Or is this really a doomsday scenario?
