I think he’s going to bring them stability and a well coached team for 4 years then retires. Which I’m sure Michigan is fine with after the shite show.
Improved their coach big time and didn’t owe any buyouts to anyone.

Impressive luck

Not having booze when you wake up on Christmas morning is amateur hour shite.
I would disappear so fast. Invest 90% of it and live my life between secluded mountain ranch and lake house. Travel the world in between.

Remember when she was in her prime and was asked on Kate night TV show what her favorite/best body part is and she said men tell her it’s her pussy?

I remember. Remember well.

So you didn’t do better than your parents even though you had all of those advantages?

Had I had just basic parenting, I would be a fricking mogul.

My kid lives a very privileged life, and I’m proud I could do that for her. She needs to move the ball forward and exceed anything I’ve done.

She has the ability and drive to do it.

I do just fine, but my father struck lightning in a bottle with his career.

Everyone thinks if they had this or that growing up they'd be Elon Musk, but in reality outside of those that inherited a ton of money allowing them to take risks in their career, I don't think that's the case. The floor is certainly higher, but I don't think the ceiling is that much higher (outside of the inheritance situation).

And in some cases (not all), presumably like yours, the challenges you faced growing up allowed you to navigate adulthood with an edge privileged kids don't have. You might be rare in this regard, but that is a testament to you.

I have a couple of degrees (I paid for the second one) and my kids attend private school and get to do all of the sports and we have good vacations and they won't pay for college. But skiiing every year with international vacations mixed in and a full time housekeeper are not in our budget. Life is just more expensive now, even on a relative basis. It's wild how much those things cost now.

All that said, yes my dad made more money than I do, adjusted for inflation. But I am not some failure and think I used my privilege to set up my family just fine.
Stub a toe or something, sure. And then I apologize and say don't ever say that. I don't use it in normal conversation.
Ehh, not rich. Middle class. I grew up way too comfortably thanks to my father's work. My kids have a great life, but not the life I had, which these days is orders of magnitude more expensive than when I was growing up. Skiing every year, international trips, full time housekeeper, etc. Those things on a relative basis are wildly more expensive than during my childhood.

re: Anyone Drink Celsius?

I don't drink a lot of energy drinks, but if I need one, usually on a long road trip or a very long day of work ahead, I'll drink the Fuji Apple Pear Celsius.

It really is a superior energy feeling to other drinks, even coffee. More energy, less jittery, better crash. I don't know how they do it, but I presume they are horrible for me so I limit to 2-3 a month and only as needed.

Other days, just 1 big cup of black coffee. I haven't had a regular soft drink outside of a Sprite or Ginger Ale when nauseous in maybe 15-20 years.
I mean, I don't think it's a bad thing...

I want as much focus on both lines as possible. That's where you win and lose.
He's still a really good OC.

As long as he and Bill can co-exist, their offense should be dramatically better.

Needs to go be a career backup and protect his head while still getting a pay check.

Aliens or T2 for me

These two and tough call.

ETA:

Thought about it more...

1. Aliens - Just a completely original movie and genre and is still so good.
1A. T2
2. Titanic - You can't deny the cultural impact of this and popularity. It also really launched two of the best actors ever in Leo and Winslet on a superstardom trajectory
3. True Lies

I'm rooting for Ole Miss over UGA :dunno:
Durham is really good and played hurt a lot of the year. With Lane's offense opening holes, he could be an All-SEC type back. Berry would probably be used in the passing game a bit more, but he would also excel in that system. You keep both and add 2 more.

Lane will be able to tell Baker his weaknesses better than anyone.

How is he this undecided? I mean yeah, it’s a lot to think about and there are tough decisions to make, but he seems all over the place.

LSU then Nebraska, then alma mater Penn State, now potentially A&M? No clue what he’s looking for lol

It's probably not some frenetic situation to him. He's just getting offers and considering them and the internet is running with "ELIJAH CLOSE TO DEAL WITH X TEAM!" and thinking he's flip flopping around.

They would've played better than that...that's for sure.
