I'm "hoping" to win the natty. If I'm being realistic, this team plays 10 P4 schools next year with 5 SEC road games. The offensive line remains to be seen, and the starting quarterback is coming off of a major injury. The offensive system is new. I could easily see 8-4.

Agreed
All I want is to make the tournament almost every year.
I was told he still owned it, but person who told me that is often wrong about things

“They’re gonna kill me if I start answering questions. Trying to follow more rules this time. Boot up”

He was a prick. That’s fine, just own it. I’d still want him on my team

While your kids are awake in the middle of the day on the other side of a locked door?

How old are the kids?
quote:

I have one. Dint know what you are missing. Have a 80 inch tv, fridge filled with beer and couch in it. I’ve banged so much arse in that thing. When my kids were small, I could lock the door to watch football in peace and bang away while my kids stayed in the house.

Who you banging?
A few:

Pepper Rutland (MMR)
Holden Spaht
John Enquist
Todd Graves (although I don't think he's paying buyout money, more on the NIL front)
One of the best theater experiences ever and I rewatch it probably once a year.

Question - did you watch it in a proper environment? It's a great movie, but the intensity, score, scientific dialogue, and beauty really come out in a good setup with big/clear TV and sound system. It's still a good movie without it, but it's one of those that you can really get immersed in and take it to another level. The score is fantastic.

For example, I wouldn't want to watch this on a plane

I don't know what his dietary habits are or if he's a big drinker, but when he was at LSU it was fairly well-documented that he ran a lot and worked out.

I think he just has really poor genetics

Unfortunately not for a while I don't think. We gotta get through the BK buyout, the McBuyout, the Wade buyout from NC State, and the NIL packages that cost more than some small country's GDP first. I think once the buyouts expire (assuming we don't have more) that is when you'll start to see a real push for upgrades.

They're going to build a new arena before spending serious capital on the PMAC.

The Coaches Portal is ALWAYS open.

And there are contracts with buyouts. It's why coaches move around a lot less.

Give those to players.

We finally have a chance to win a national title.

Let's just make the tournament.

Its been reported that baseball actually had a smaller budget this year.

I don't know if that's true, but what I do know is true is the recruiting and transfer portal classes were both considered top 3 in the country. We spent enough. We just missed on evaluations on some transfers, assuming they don't turn the corner.
LSU will always be a football school. If we're good at football, attendance won't be as high for basketball during football season.

Just the facts
Jay had elite recruiting and transfer portal classes, by the rankings. We spent a lot of money. Transfers just haven't worked out...yet.

They should look at Ole Miss' new arena. It's super nice and fans are right on the court. Would be a good model.

A bunch. Probably close to 10

Are they all defense attorneys or ambulance chasers? I know probably 100 just due to work (and family is full of them).

Lawyers do all sorts of things, not just sleezy stuff. For example, I work in M&A a lot and those lawyers just draw up acquisition or divestiture agreements and just focus on post transaction risk. Nothing sleezy about it.

Most lawyers aren't sleezy, just the loudest ones.
He'll be on the phone with Thomas day 1 to try and keep him I think. Rest of roster may be gone.
I think his real issue was getting his players to execute and motivating them to play hard.

I think he was too soft. I do think he would be a good assistant coach drawing up plays and helping design offensive sets/defensive strategy. He has a mind for basketball, just not a personality to be a high level head coach.

He just couldn't get his guys to execute at a high level.
