Always sad when I'm in the liquor store and there's a normal looking mom in front of me buying a bunch of airplane bottles of cheap vodka. Someone that otherwise you'd think was a good citizen. They just have demons.

That would have me in a deep spiral of depression that I'm not sure I'd ever recover from. All my coworkers get filthy rich and quit and I am just sitting there day after day, year after year thinking about what could've been.

That's why I also pitch in :lol:

We do a prorated system. Whatever % of the pot for tickets you pitch in, that's the % you'd get if a win happened. My boss always throws in like $100 for the $1b+ jackpots and I do like $10/$20, as do most others.

Check out Discovery properties, Palm Beach neighborhoods, and things like that. Or penthouses in NYC, etc.

Not saying I would do those things, but a lot of billionaires have that shite.

Depends. There are some really basic and safe investments you can make that one guy can handle amongst his other wealthy clients.

Or you can make it complicated if you want.

One thing I always say I'd do and I think would feel the best, is make a trust for all my kids, neices, nephews, parents, in-laws, etc. Give them all $1m with clear restrictions or buy them homes in their names. I'd buoy my entire bloodline and wife's bloodline.

Dude, look at my math above.

You can buy 3 $10m homes, a $10m jet, and after taxes and overhead on those things, still have $6.3m income a year at 6% interest.

In reality, I'd try to hold off on huge purchases for a few years to get the 6% applied to the $260m in full, then start big purchases. Add $15.6m annually to the pot. I'd lease everything fancy and still not come close to spending that after taxes. Keep growing the egg while I do really good research on the properties and plane I want to buy. Likely, I'd look for property and build a dream home/property, which would take time to coordinate and would lease a big arse house in the meantime.

Pull out $5m a year for a few years to lease your life and let the rest grow

Year 0: 260
Year 1: 270.3
Year 2: 281.2
Year 3: 292.8

THEN buy the big shite for 40-50m and live off interest income.

First, you should live in tax advantageous state if you can so future earnings aren't killed.

But, 6% interest on $260m is $15.6m a year.

Or let's say you buy 3 $10m properties., and 1 $10m jet (seats 8).

You're left with $220m. Which at 6% interest (very obtainable), you earn $13.2m a year. After taxes on that, you've got ~$8.3m

Jet is $1m to maintain, houses combined let's say $1m to maintain.

You're left with, after $2m of overhead on homes and jet, $6.3m a year to play with.

I think you guys could manage.

But frankly both offenses were a blast to watch. Smith, Jones, Waddle, Metchie, Najee Harris, Dickerson, Brian Robinson, et al. and Burrow, Chase, Jefferson , Helaire, et al.

Even the D wasn’t bad with Barmore, Mathis, Eboigbe, Christian Harris, Will Anderson, Pat Surtain, Jobe, Moore, Battle. All NFL starters at one time or another. Many still doing so. Maybe not quite Miami 2001 but not bad.

Crushed the playoff competition including a rested, undefeated, untied Ohio State team which they took to the woodshed. Put up 52 on them with Smith and Waddle not even playing most of the second half and Dickerson out the whole game. But OSU had D players out too.

No wonder Connelly says Alabama 2020 is the best. The numbers and schedule sure say so.

In empty away game stadiums. If you don't want to discount the record, you have to discount the scores on road games. You know some of those usually hostile environments would've changed things.

Disagreeing with that is saying that home field advantage doesn't exist in the SEC. If that's your stance, great.

And for SOS calculation, it's completely fricked that year because of the schedules teams played across the country.

It's an asterisk year.

Saban saw Hurts struggling against Georgia and put Tua in, for example.

The UGA/TCU game was over in the 1st quarter. It looked like a high school team playing UGA. That was an absurdly bad performance from them and an equally unreal performance from UGA. I bet on UGA going into that and still probably the most I've wagered on a single football game. Second being on Alabama v. Notre Dame. That had ugly written all over it before as well.

I shower afterwards. And never take a bath if I'm really dirty after yard work or exercise. It's usually an after dinner on a work night thing and I just sit in an office all day in a suit. Not very dirty :lol:

I also don't usually put my head under, so my arse and feet dirt as you alluded to doesn't hit the noggin.

I’ll do a pre shower soak in a scalding tub a couple times a week to relax before bed.

Throw in some Epsom salt, smoke some devils lettuce, dim the lights and listen to an audiobook.
