Vets and dentists/orthodontists are very common, if not the vast majority in metro areas.

But if it vanished tomorrow, Baton Rouge still has twice the GDP (by like 30 billion) and higher income and real estate values basically across the board. Thank God for O&G. Jackson is like mini-Detroit in terms of economy. It's fricking bad, the economy has shriveled. I know a lot of people that live there or used to live there.

Sidenote, Baton Rouge MSA is 36% black and Jackson is 47%, something I thought would be different.
