Listen pal, what Auburn did is completely different. Jackson Arnold sucks.
I think Greedy is good honest kid and I have utmost faith that he'll announce that he's sticking with his commitment to Texas.

these sports aren't even being discussed

the article is literally discussing them. If you don't like the methodology, feel free to complain to CBS.

But I agree, Oklahoma had a better year in men's sports due to the baseball win.

Nah. Texas beat Oklahoma and finished higher. Maybe if they hadn't choked away a 17 point lead to a team that got crushed by Indiana a week later.

Now imagine comparing that to people that actually won hardware of some kind

Ok, let's compare.

Indiana won football and otherwise did frickall.
Michigan won men's basketball and otherwise did frickall.
UCLA won women's basketball and made the WCWS and a baseball regional.
Oklahoma won baseball, lost in first round of CFP, and made the softball Supers.
Texas won softball, made baseball CWS, men's basketball Sweet 16, women's basketball final four, final 8 in volleyball.

Yeah, it's hard to see why Texas is at the top of this list.

Which is why I made sure to lead off my post with their other failures and shortcomings

Two of your three "failures" were a CWS appearance and a S16 in MBB

The methodology is there in black and white. You're arguing that Texas (barely) missing the CFP should outweigh the other 5 sports under consideration, all of which resulted in excellent finishes for Texas.

Most SEC teams don't play volleyball

every SEC school fields a volleyball team

Does this list put more weight on bigger titles? If not it is crap.

yes. it puts the most weight behind women's softball
you have wrestling and gymnastics (lol), who cares

These fat arse coaches today are half the man Mark Mangino was.

College baseball is also more fun when the west coast teams are good. UC Irvine, CS Fullerton, Long Beach, etc. all used to be fun programs to watch.

yeah. I get the "rah rah SEC streak" stuff but i personally find it sad that the CWS has become a de facto SEC tournament.

i mean if a chick was hot in 2019, odds are she's still pretty hot. if she was hot in 1939, she's dead

I find it funny that a Manning didn’t place first.

You would just say he only got first because his last name is Manning.

No, but they were scrappy and tough. These days, they are everything they've always accused Texas of being.
So what you're saying that Texas, not Oklahoma, is the only SEC school to win a big 3 title this year.

And how many championships?

3

down year
mens/womens basketball, women s&d, women's golf were all top 25 finishers not on that list.

apparently our men t&f finished 24 in indoor, but yeah that program has fallen off a cliff and needs a new coach.

soccer hired the UCLA coach and should be much better going forward.
