NIL was around 5 years ago, not revenue sharing. Revenue sharing started last July. And NIL specifically says you can't have pay for play deals, so no there were no buyouts paid by schools when guys transferred. There is nothing traditional about how that's dealt with. It's all new as of a year ago. This year was the first recruiting/portal cycle where revenue sharing was already in place

Why don’t you worry about your own damn school for once? Does it look like we’re struggling with money? We just stole your Coach for a crap ton of money and just bought the number one transfer class. Things are still moving along nicely for this year and recruiting. Why the concern? We’re clearly just fine. Stop trying to make yourselves feel better this way…it sad
