All rebuilding years are expensive now a days unless you want to be pitiful. We replaced nearly everyone.

Wikipedia? You might as well have said, Source=Me lol

Agree completely. Anything less than a National Championship appearance is failure. Atleast that would be the expectation in Oxford.
I can assure you LSU’s and Ole Miss’s expectations are worlds apart. At least they should be lol.
re: Why are LSU fans convinced that Pete sucks as a coach?

Don’t think many have said he sucks as a coach? The fact is he really has zero experience in this position so no one knows lol.

Especially against the number 1 or 2 greatest positional player to sport the purple and gold.

LSU fans blame Brian Kelly for taking time off, they defend Lane Kiffin for taking time off.
The fact you can’t understand the difference is not surprising, but concerning nonetheless
re: Mississippi ranks No. 1 in producing male pro athletes

Eh don’t get crazy now. MS produced athletes fine based on demographics, but this is on a per capita basis. They still don’t produce tremendously when looking at the top states. Louisiana who’s not exactly way at the top had almost double the nfl guys last year.

If we don't play UF to make the playoff chances better, who cares. I could care less if we played Bama every year, if you told me that would result in us making the playoffs every year.
What does not playing Florida have to do with making the playoffs? The two aren’t very related to each other.

Very much depends on your priorities, but for me I’ve taken quite a pay cut in the past (with potential to bring it back somewhat close which I did over time) to have more of a stable timeframe with the family. I could see myself in a couple decades thinking about how much I missed and it just wasn’t worth it to me. But solely depend on situation and priorities.

I've thought about extending my model. Not changing the predictive ability part, because that part is really good, but taking the rating results from it and adding things to it to do more of a "ranking", but it just seems disingenuous. Seems like that would include too much bias input.
It seems like you feel like we’re saying disregard the stats. That’s not it at all. It’s entirely possible to use the statistics given, but formulate the model to give realistic results. The model your presenting is not at all realistic hence the million questions. Literally the first time you saw that result you should have questioned it as well.

I can't just tell it "1989 Houston liked to run the score up, so dock them for that". That's a subjective metric and causes noise, which causes inaccuracies.
Well others found a way. You should as well if you want a good model.

You think? Your model is retarded lol. LSU was a 5 and a half point favorite in 2019 against Vegas btw. And then smoked them.

re: For those that care about baseball…how did your school do w/ your class & MLB Draft?
Posted by vidtiger23 on 7/13/26 at 12:09 pm to bigDgator
They lost like 3 or 4 of their top guys who no one expected to make it through anyway. But from what I heard they retained a lot of good players and will have a good freshman crew to work with.

You seem to have a conceptual issue of separating money versus on field success.

nobody processes their sunday starter. I dont care what the injury situation was
I don’t think he was processed FWIW. But Sunday starter? He was Sunday starter solely due to injury in which all 3 of those guys that were actually starters are returning. Chances are he was not a Sunday starter. Good potential though.

You need to go back two and a half decades for Texas to have as many championships as he has. Not sure you want him to get too much help.

I understand that was just a question. I didn’t know if “Coming to LSU” meant if it was officially confirmed from very close sources. Makes sense though.

What’s Spencer Evans coming to LSU from? He just got picked by Pirates

Not sure. But I have learned MS license plate fees are pretty crazy.

We also signed a former 5 star and an additional solid QB in the portal……we’ll be fine. Appreciate your concern though.
