I think we walked into that game with 5 scholarship defensive lineman available.

Oh, you mean the talent was to the point the next guy could come in and teach a brand new offense with no drop off?

That isn't what I mean at all.

You clearly dont know much about what transpired at Oklahoma in the years after Leach but I understand you wanting to pick and choose events to convince yourself that he will save your program by throwing 55 times a game.

Oh I get that it's not what you wanted to say, but you made my point non-the-less.

His offense, Not Stoops, Leach's offense took a last place offense in the Big 12 that had talent to the #1 offense... in a year. OU’s total offense numbers improved from 293.3 yards per game to 427.2 yards per game, which enabled them to climb from No. 101 in the FBS to No. 11 nationally. Under Leach, the Oklahoma offense set six Big 12 and 17 school records. Period... Full stop.

Every where the man has been, when the talent level was remotely decent, the offense was explosive. WSU did not have that talent. Texas Tech did not have that talent and he had to build it.

OU, much like MSU, was not void of talent and we see what he did there.

You could even look at UK.

I don't need to. Why would I need to? Again.. Leach took them from last to #1 in one year. Why, because OU actually had some talent.

My program don't need saving.

Defensively we've been gutted compared to previous seasons. That's the problem with this game and why we won't win it. In other words, we basically go from 1st string personnel to 3rd string personnel on the two deep. This is based on experience and/or talent.

We missed on some guys in the '19 class and it's about to bite. But it gets worse, we've had injuries and opt-outs to add to it. Add that to a new defensive scheme and you have disaster in game one. The offense will score points but can't carry us through the game.

Didn’t you idiots say the same shite last year? Then LSU slapped the entire SEC around all season and quickly shut you up.

We gonna put a sleeved arm up your arse and check yo pulse and shite so you're comfortable. Then we're going to blow you the frick out while Leach looks frustrated and blames his players.

I'm an Ole Miss fan so definitely not my heart. Costello is the best year 1 QB Leach has ever had and LSU has so much inexperience. If this game were week 6-7, then maybe LSU wins by a couple of touchdowns.

I'm also not a believer in Myles Brennan and never have been.

To be fair since 2014 it’s been pretty a way more competitive series.

Biggest weakness I'm seeing for MSU right now is that secondary. Dantzler gone, other starting CB opted out, a walk on is starting at safety, a CB is starting at the other safety spot because that safety is not available for the game.

Just doesnt sound good there against what should be a pretty prolific passing attack with talent like Marshall, McMath, Boutte and Gilbert they are going up against.

All signs are pointing to our defense being historically bad, offense should be good though. I think 16.5 is probably about right in this one.

O/U opened at 48.5 and if you were lucky enough to get the over there, you've got a lock. Even at the 57.5 it's probably a good bet.

you're not seriously suggesting that the pac is "big boy ball." and besides, you left out the part about the coaching transition

And Dak would not have ever seen the field, yet he's making millions and setting records
not sure what this has to do with anything. yeah, every sec team has a good rb. and lsu's front 7 is good too. so what. lsu's d sees 3 rb's as good as state's every day in practice. it's not like they're going to be surprised.

We will see this weekend right
so you think leach in his first game of his first season is going to dismantle dbu on the road. is that realistic?

how many times do you have to be corrected on this?

LSU has recruited good players the past two classes. While inexperienced the talent is there.

Now do the part where they actually averaged more points per game the year after Leach left.

You're making a huge deal about him going from worst to first offensively yet ignoring the fact that they didnt decline after he left, why was that?

If Leach truly took them worst to first, there should've been at least some drop off when he left.
